Hey, why don’t you have to double the calculated volume of the tube to get the actual respiration rate? My thinking is that as the liquid moves towards the experimental tube with lower pressure, the pressure on the other side also decreases due to there being more volume freed up by the moving liquid. This would imply the liquid kinda “stops halfway” when the pressure on either side reaches equilibrium. Or in other words, V_actual is 2x V_measured?

Hii I Have 2 questions so I applied before 30 June and the universities I have applied to have till 17 July to make a decision. I was wondering can I call the same uni that I have applied to because I didn’t hear back from them yet? The other question is if I do clearing on the 5th of July but I’m still waiting for the other 5 unis I applied to give me an answer, then I don’t have to withdraw from those unis right? So I can have one clearing while I still have my other 5 choices?

On the beetroot practical you said that the proteins in the cell surface membrane denature is that correct because the proteins in their are not enzymes so they don’t denature or am i wrong
