got idea from forum "lawnmover" currently can plant seed (random plants will appear) must be watered can be cutted. up to 50000 plants can be placed to the ground. Uses basic onProximity behaviour for each grass item and for gridmap sections.

Hi Sven! How are you? I'm trying to create an FPS game, and it's going well so far, but I'm having trouble with enemy AI, and I couldn't solve it. I've been trying for 2 weeks to create enemies that don't glitch. The problem is that the enemies group together, as if there were no collision or system to move out of the way to shoot at the player. So I wanted to ask you, do you know or have any AI that is good for FPS games with multiple enemies?

hey idId know that UDP multiplay file of yours, how do I do it when I open a door or turn on a light and the other player sees the door opening or the light coming on? Could I implement even more things, like if I make a building and the other player can see my building, or for example, how could I make an enemy randomly follow one of the players and both see where the enemy is going? help me please.
Hi, in example there should be door and light example.. also spawn example if i remember correctly. about enemy - if you use built in ai then each player see its own random moving enemy.. (not synced between player) enemy target should be same if it attacks one of the player- all should see it. (you cant use random patrol for AI) - to make it work custom AI must be made- i have done it already actually.. will upload it if i find it and have more time. With javascript you can add whatever commands you want.. each incame interaction should be sent over network and executed for all players.. do if lightON then each player must get command to set that light on.. because the way this networking works it may skip/lose command and execute command for all may fail-- the UDP multiplayer system is best for just testing and playing around than makeing real game out of it-. to make real game i suggest you to use studio version and C++ to make multiplayer possible with the way as it should be.
@@idid4516 yes thanks a lot for the tip, I wanted to create a MUCK type co-op survival game where players could build and all players could see each other's buildings. can i do this with your UDP multiplayer file? The game should be simple and the great difficulty is not even to create a crafting system, but to synchronize what the players are building.

Hi Sven Sorry to bother you. I created a script to detect the animation when pressing w and s, and it worked. And I tried to set it to detect when I run, and it didn't work. If you want and can, could you help me with that? I can send you the script and the project if you like.
Hi, send me the ccb - will check it out. Getting animation you dont actually need to know what key is pressed.. you can use behavior script instead of action script for that.. and then you can extend it.. if ANIMATION="walk" execute action X and so on..
@@idid4516 Thank you very much! I've sent you the script by email. I don't know if this helps... I changed the code of the Shift key to another, to test, and it worked correctly, but when it's with the Shift code (16), it doesn't work.
@@noxusgamesstudio shift key is 160 ... change it to 160 ( it worked for me) You can use print(key); to see the correct number for keys

hi,could you help me with a piece of information? I was wondering if it's possible to increase the amount of players with that coppercube multiplay file of yours UDP, because I was thinking of increasing it to 16 or 30 players but I don't know how I can do that
Hi, its easily doable but its not good idea to use this networking for real game (its meant just for testing and playing around) to make multiplayer game you need Studio version and add TCP/UDP networking to it by doing some c++ code. My UPD client doesnt communicate directly with coppercube- it uses TXT file to communicate between-(that means its slow and it will have data loss)
Sven, I managed to do something that might help you with the chase AI.🙌🏽 I managed to make your chase AI work at the same set speed regardless of the user's fps, for example... If the player is low fps or high fps, the AI speed will always be the same, I used JavaScript's "Date.now()" method to get the current time in milliseconds, so it worked! I managed to fix the AI speed bug, do you want me to send it to you? it can help you in your chase AI creations, if you want I can send you the before, and after, if you want to compare what I changed.
Hi,thanks. In my older scripts i didnt use delta time - its now always used in newer scripts i make. Soon i start making AI script again so there will be better version of AI.. i have tested ideas how to make it more performance friendly so it wont affect fps that much as my old scripts.

Camera is fps camera that follows the spot that is child of player..player rotates with camera. This gives more possibilityes to have control over player than just using third person camera behavior. Player movement is scripted.

Its all javascript. I will share scripts if i have more time. Chopper ai will get some updates.. 2 types of choppers will be..attack and transport helicopters. Attack chopper will fly towards you and shoot while transport one will use method as in this video.

Player currently doesnt lean but it can be done.. not hard to make. (Depends on 3d model you are using) Model needs to have upperbody and lowerbody.. upperbody as child of lower.. then you can rotate upperbody as needed.
Or depends how your viewport you can rotate whole model but lowerbody should be out of view then..otherwise it will look weird.
@@svenlname6689 but how can I make the character in parts without the upper body showing the inside parts of the lower body model when tilting down or up?

its a basic FPS game. coppercube built in fps camera and shoot action can be used. for testing built in AI should work also for enemy AIs.

Hi Sven I'm almost finished a game of mine, I'm just fixing some bugs in it, and a bug appeared in that AI that you helped me improve (AI7). The bug happens when the AI behavior is "executed" more than once/when the scene is restarted or changed... For example, I start my game, then the enemy starts following me, if for example I die in the game, and the scene restarts there is a bug that the AI speed is extremely low, this also happens when changing scenes where there is also AI behavior in a scene node. On the Coppercube console, this error appeared when this bug happened: "behavior_AI7:289:TypeError: p1.substract is not a function" Can you help me solve it?

You can try : execute javascript: behavior_AI7_count=0; behavior_AI7_Array=[]; before restart the scene.. tell me does it works..

Depends how many character you want to control it might be simpler o use multiple cameras and switch between them. Making 3rd person camera to switch between target nodes may require full camera system to built and its kinda big work.. there is custom 3rd person camera system sm3rd person camera that maybe allows it ,you may try it out.

Hi Sven, sorry to bother you. But I wanted to ask you, if you can and if you're able to... Could you create a plugin to read a specific line of text and pass it to a specific variable? and also another script to save a text file based on a variable? For example... A text box to write the name of the variable, a text box for the name of the text file, a box to define the line of the text file you want to read. And to save, just change the function from load to save. I'm creating a new launcher for my game, and it will have a menu of options for the player to configure as they wish. If you can and if it's possible. If you can't create it, that's fine. :) 👍

@@idid4516 Thank you very much.🤝 But unfortunately, the script had a bug, it's something very specific and strange that happened... When it read the first line and passed it to the variable, it added another line to the variable below. But when it read the second line it worked perfectly. And when it went to save the 3rd line, it simply didn't save it on the 3rd line and saved it on the 4th line of the file, when it went to read the 3rd line, it didn't recognize it and didn't pass it to the variable.
I don't know if it helps, but if the "split" function is the same function as I imagine, which is to separate line by line... It's probably the problem.
@@ZEROdvf I updated project.. link is same- i didnt change anything about code but in project itself. Does it works for you ? (there i use 3 lines 1 3 5) save button saves line and load loads.. for me it works ok.
where do you get input string? you use same as me -i just set variable. if you get input string from editbox then it may include some special symbols or even newLine.. if so then i can add function that cleanUps your input string.

Thanks , Currently i can make it to change Volume and Rate .. currently it uses default voice.(if you change voice in your control panel then it will use that) - i will figure out how to change voice (male /female).
Hi again Sven, I apologize for bothering you. Remember when I asked you to help me improve the AI (AI7)? So, I told you that it wasn't working very well, but I managed to make it work by adding some behaviors on top. Well... everything was fine, but... something bad happened... The intention of the game is to have a lot of enemies, due to the size of the game map, which is quite large. I cloned the enemies 30 times and scattered them around the map, I thought it would work fine. However... the more scene nodes I use AI7 in the game, the performance drops exaggeratedly, I tested it and it was between 5FPS and 10FPS. I also tested with fewer enemies, in this case 15 this time, but unfortunately the FPS remained low. I wanted to ask you if it would be possible to optimize the script? Or recreate the AI so that it can run with more FPS or the same amount of FPS? I didn't want to send you this, because I didn't want to bother you at all. But this project of mine has been a year in the planning, I don't want to lose it at all. If you can help me, of course, if you can't, I'll understand perfectly.👍
