Have you stopped taking your medication again. 😂😂😂😂 Fucking click bait. You really do have too much spare time on your hands. Truthfully it's not big or clever. It's a bit shit definitely not amusing.
simply wonderful!
Thank you if you are interested in Mabel Normand I have much more I can share with you
You're a big waste
I believe the late Sir Bobby Charlton said Duncan was the greatest player he ever saw and this coming from a man who played alongside Best, Law &Kidd in their prime. Sadly went far far too early.
Trevor the barber? Was in there one day. He did a lot of his work with an electric razor. He was half way through cutting a customer’s hair when the power went off, so he got his manual clippers out. Lucky for me, the power came back on when it was my turn. Lovely bloke and a proper old school character.
Trevor's Dad used to cut my hair as a lad in the 50's. Used to charge me 6d.
His name was Billy Worton
Blimey must be getting old. Late 80s are the good old days!
Not sure what is going on
How sad , and Bobby Charlton has just passed away . Time goes so quickly.
Wow. What a find. One of those shops at 1.54 was my grandparents' newsagents and their family home. Eric and Daisy Griffiths died in 1978 and 1979. My father, Bryan, their only child was born and grew up there alongside his Uncle Jack and grandad Arthur. Sadly, Dad died in 2022. Does anyone remember them? It had been a family shop for a generation or two before them. When Dad married Mum in 1961 they moved away and we grew up in Maidenhead, Berkshire but used to visit my grandparents Eric and Daisy at the shop in the 1970s. When my grandparents died, Dad sold the building and I think it became a hire and knife sharpening shop for a brief period. Many years later, the day after I was married in September 1992, we drove along High Street heading off on our road trip honeymoon just as that row of shops was being demolished. I stopped to take a few pictures. So this video was actually sometime earlier in 1992.
Black Country lad
I wonder if teams in them days were more of a team because they all got paid the same
2 legends now together Duncan Edwards - Bobby Charlton RIP Greats.
WHEN FOOTBALL WAS A JOY NO GREED JUST GUYS WHO LOVED THE GAME AND HAD A DRINK WITH THE FANS
Fabulous tribute. I remember him from when I was a young boy - one of the greatest Busby babes.
Sir Bobby Charlton insists he was the best player he ever saw , that’s good enough for me.
Would have been a good video with a bit more footage of the Lad and without that anal violin drone!
Bangers, mash, peas and Gravy is the best meal to have.
I was too young to see Duncan. But I vividly remember Gerald Sinstadt saying of a 17 year old Wayne Rooney. "He is the best young English footballer I have seen since Duncan Edwards. Of course I knew through reading about him and older players talking about him that he was a great player. RIP.
In the words of a true legend in Bobby Charlton: He (Duncan Edwards) was a colossus.
Casta Diva what a choice of score.....
My Grandad my moms father knew him. My grandad was 3 years older and remembers him growing up as kids in Dudley. He didn't know him that well but knew him enough to talk to, and it was obvious from a young age he was gonna be special!!! He would of been England's finest player!!!!
Spurs fan here. He would of been the greatest footballer the world had ever seen RIP
Matt Busby favorite player of all time.Kathleen McGRath Ennis.
Bobby Charton said he was the greatest player he ever played, he would have been an all time great...how incredibly sad.
What a dump. Most of the buildings remain, road has been improved. Miss the glasshouse cones, I used to work school and Uni. holidays at Stuart’s and Royal Brierley.
My dad witness to the hibs famous five( a decent collection of players) always said edwards was the best player he had ever seen
If only the boy had grown into a man. God bless what might have been Duncan. Xxx
Built like a tank, he had already played 5 seaons as a first team player...must have gone straight into the starting 11 from the age of 16. RIP
Sweep seemed very excited about Dave the sheep
Love Derek ❤
Great video
Any videos of dressing stone wheels?
A real shame so little footage of him playing exists, before my time so never got to see him play live, but a few guys I know who did say to a man there has never been a better player. That is some true god given talent, LFC fan.
Would of been in the 1966 England team and captain what a footballer never seen his like again
Best of Birthdays John!
I remember using the Amblecote library many times in the 70s!
Lived in Wordsley nor far from Stourbridge for most of the 70s and go back regularly. Still have a great deal of affection for the Black Country in fact for all of the heart of England. Over the years we've improved much but we've also lost much. We can't seem to get the balance right.
I grew up in Manchester in the 1950 s And all us kids worshipped Duncan . we were devastated as was everyone in Manchester by the aircrash .
Lived in Stourbridge from 98 to 04, Old Swinford and Kings Swinford, love the black country, felt welcome an the pubs were great.
A wasted life, all due to a stupid pilot
I was an apprentice glass maker at Web and corbettes and grew up around there. Audnam was a lovely little village, I remember that Amblecote was near stourbridge football ground, or have I gone completely nuts in my old age?
Beautiful 🙏
Fond memories of Brettel Lane, it was my first home after my marriage in 1967. My husband and l rented a flat behind the Post Office. It was lovely just walked out of our door and all the shops on our door step. We emigrated to Australia in 1968, looking back it was one of the happiest times in my life. Love Oz my family are here, but my heart will always be in England.
My wife & I bought our first house in Oak Park Rd. in 1962, just off Brettlel Lane. Lived there for 48 yrs. before moving to Mid-Wales in 2008
shit hole then, shit hole now
Amazing!
Legend before my time, legend when I was born in the 70s , still a legend to this day and will be a legend long after I've gone,
Ok boomer
Just come across this video. My father always raved about big Duncan. The interesting thing to me is and sadly we will never know is that in 1966 Duncan would have been 29 and at his peak. Wonder where he would have fitted into Ramsey's team?
The background music if someone can please tell !
Wow! All the hard work put on each piece. A very fascinating work of art!
