I have a lot of brown patches, probably caused by chinch bugs. After putting some Triazicide on the lawn, how do I make the St. Augustine grass come back? Do I just put soil over it?

It looks so good. My yard looks like shit but im trying all I can to revive it. Currently 40% is st aug and rest is weeds and poor soil

Daily is good for hot periods especially is its grass sown in the same year. misting in the heat of the day is also a good tactic used on golf courses. If the temp are not too hot then every other days is ok for optimal results. Any dormancy / browning is a failure to understand how to water the lawn. It should never occur.
