4:10 Bit of an unfair comparisson since you're comparing a direct interface sound here whereas most DAW have AMP and CAB simulation (Ex Amp Designer in Logic).
Is it possible to run the effects send of an amplifier to the input without causing any issues?

I prefer my J48 with my bass amp sim pedals I tried the Jensen passive with the pedals and the levels were terrible

This is currently the only viable solution I have found that allows you to insert guitar pedals into your DAW mix if you want to run them both before AND after an amp-sim.
So the EXTC is a Passive reamp despite having a DC plug?
The EXTC is an active Reamp box and will require the use of its external power supply in order to operate.
Would this work well for ham radio? I want to feed it from 2 different radios and have them feed one speaker. I want to adjust the eq differently from each radio.
The PZ-Pro isn't designed for use with HAM radios, and should only be used with instruments.

This is a good video showing the difference it made for reverberation and also changes the tone of the snare drum to a more natural mid-range than that high pop before the treatment. You can also notice how quickly the sound dissipates after the treatment which is great for feedback control.
can i use passive direct box with passive pickups/ electric guitar? i am trying to use it but it has static and i wonder if its still possible to use it if i manage to fix the static
While passive instruments can be used with passive direct boxes, you can potentially encounter issues with gain staging at your interface or mixer. Shoot us an email at support@radialeng.com so that we can look into this further with you!
Looks like a great product. Can this is phantom power if I use shielded Cat 6?
Phantom power can be passed through the Catapults so long as shielded ethernet cabling (Cat5e or higher) with shielded and terminated RJ45 connectors are used.
Totally excellent video, with a full demo and explanation of the JDX. I own two of these DI boxes, and you can beat 'em.
I love my ProD2’s for tracking synths, TR8s, rehearsals, and live.
Very good. Upgrading the studio to find they don’t really make rack fx units anymore (I’m old). Looks like pedals and one of these is the answer I’ve been looking for. Pedals will be more fun than sterile menu panels I think.
