I couldn’t care less about history when I was younger but the older I get, the more important it seems to be (I’m 34, somehow- was born right around the fall of the wall) . Not only is it interesting to see what has happened before us but there are so many lessons about human behavior to be learned. It’s so much more than just some war dates which is what it seemed to only be when I was in school. Have a great day :)

also, LOVE LOVE LOVE the olympics. the pride and happiness I feel for those athletes is insane. gymnastics has always been my favorite to watch, but I just love watching any sport from the olympics

I really think you are lucky enough , not to ever have had a love one who has gone through DV. Calling a person , even a character in a book , selfish doesn't sit with me. Almost all victims are scared , ashamed and also they feel guilty and trapped . The way Diana acted , denying and hiding , it's exactly how DV victims act.

i absolutely loved the dance of thieves duology and their world, and i’m hoping to started reading the remnant chronicles trilogy which follows the queen and how she became the queen of venda. i also wanna get into more nonfiction, so im abt to start reading “The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck” hope that book changes my life, if it doesn’t i will cry.

I totally agree on Anastasia and Henry’s relationship! Ugh I HATED Aaron he was legit a demon, a true narcissist! I was not surprised when the player from UCLA told Nate he got injured in one of his drunken nights. He was horrible. Also I didn’t know hockey romance novels were a thing thing either, I’m considering another one but once I read a few other books on my TBR list.

I know I'm over 5 months late but omg I picked the first book up in Barnes and Noble back in may and absolutely loved it and I never would have gotten it if the back hadn't called to me! I was unsure in like the first 20 pages then got hooked and spent every single class period reading it. I borrowed vow of thieves from a friend because I could wait to read that one as well! It wasn't till October that I found out about the trilogy (Remnant chronicles) and those were a roller coaster of happy emotions! I just picked up vow of thieves yesterday after wanting to reread the series! The word building the descriptions the dialogue. I'm in love with it!!
