I’m *NOT A PODCASTER* But I think there are ways that would help someone who is thinking about becoming one. 1. Take a “Speech Class” At a Community College or a Learning Annex. It will help you with learning to to speak to an audience, getting your breathing and inflections down, being able to “Stay on Topic” and not wander off on some tangent that has nothing to do with the main subject. 2. Writing up a Script beforehand, it is easy to lose your train of thought, or to forget some of your •BULLET POINTS• you don’t want to be 15 minutes into your subject only to forget where you were going with it, so write up a script ahead of time so you can hit on all the things you want to say and all the points you want to make. 3. Choose a Topic you are Interested in AND are knowledgeable about AKA (Do your Homework) because if you end up saying things that are patently Not True your audience will either tune you out OR Rip you to shreds for Spreading misinformation. 4. Be patient and keep an open Mind, NOBODY LIKES a “THIS IS THE WAY IT IS AND ANYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH ME IS WRONG!!!” Type of person, be willing to admit when you make a mistake and accept responsibility when you do make a mistake. 5. When you figure out what you want your Podcast to be, invite people who share your interest on the subject BUT might not see things the way you do 100% of the time. Having a free flowing (respectful) exchange of ideas makes for much more interesting conversations. Anyway these are just some of my thoughts.
