I’ve always “known” my heart was condemned; I’ve been to multiple confessions where I just interject my struggle/woe by complaining that I cannot tell the difference between Satan and God, and I condemn myself even more, in despair. I wasn’t even confessing that as a sin!! What good news to know that it is, that it can be overcome… I so needed to hear this!!

Fr. I can see that you are very biased. You speak of the deep seated anger of some tradionalists but you fail to mention at all the horrific anger of the many secular priests who cannot tolerate a line from the Catechism being quoted. They are members of unholy priest's associations and have been placed in influential positions within the Church specifically to deceive an ignorant uncatechised congregations to embrace the agenda that advocates sodom and women priests. I witnessed a woman whom I know who never goes to the Latin Mass, being physically assaulted by a secular priest when she very respectfully answered his question by quoting a line from JP 2's Catechism. Why do you make no mention of the many unholy secular priests and Bishops who have no desire to be Catholic or to permit the Catholic faith being taught. Hearing your biased view can only drive people to join the Traditional Mass community if it was available to them. I could well understand the young prospective seminarian walking away when you bad mouthed tradionalists while remaining silent about the many Novus Ordu clergy who are priests in name only.

The meaning of that scripture of course we know is a spiritual meaning, because it is not literal that the physically dead go bury the dead. Yes, of course it was sacred back then to bury the dead, it’s sacred to everybody, even still today, but that’s still not the meaning of the scripture. The meaning comes from understanding of parables. Jesus spoke in parables, just as his Father did all throughout the Bible. It’s important that we understand Parables that are spoken, and the context of which they are used. Jesus was speaking of those who were spiritually dead in the physical body, dead towards God in the condition of their heart and spirit through false/mixed teachings they received. During that time The Scribes, Pharisees & TOL were teaching false doctrine, Mixed teachings with their own interpretations, they were Blind and Deaf, they were the blind leading the blind lacking understanding of Gods word..leading others to spiritual death. It was more important for that disciple to follow Jesus because Jesus was the true word that leads to life and to be with others that are spiritually dead in Christ without God‘s true word Leads to spiritual death.

We are not to follow our heart, no where does scripture say follow our heart we are to be obedient and follow Gods will by keeping His word and His commands to live our life only according to Gods true word which leads to spiritual eternal life. Following Jesus who was the true word of God was more important and where that disciple needed to be in order to live, the meaning of let the dead bury the dead was about people who were spiritually dead lacking Gods true word burying the dead. This passage contains parables Jesus spoke.

  • @QuickHelpProductions

Thank you both for this excellent video! I signed up to be a parish contact for the Revival. I plan to share your video - and Dr. O'Malley's book - with my pastor, and the deacon who is helping coordinate our parish participation. I'm old enough (73 years old) to have grown up with First Friday Holy Hours. The most memorable was the First Friday in November, which followed the peaceful resolution of the Cuban Missile Crisis. (It was also a few weeks after Vatican II opened also.) I distinctly remember feeling peace - and seeing peace on the adults' faces. I've always remembered that moment. It is written in my heart! Several months later, our pastor opened up our parochial school to our city's first Head Start program. Being a city in the Deep South (Baton Rouge, LA) in the middle of the :Civil :Rights Movement, I witnessed the reality that Our Lord saved us for a reason. I'm deeply grateful to you both for helping revive our Church's devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. - I've been waiting for 60 years!

The verse in the actual. Greek language does not say through the eye of the needle but through the whole that the needle makes!!!! From that we can safely come to a conclusion that is not actually talking about a camel but about string or rope because the word that was translated as camel in the English bible in old Greek could mean rope . There is one letter difference that is pronounced the same and that is the letter (ι). Καμήλα that is with the letter ( η ) and means camel. Or Καμιλα with the letter ( ι ) which means rope. Now remember the verse Matthew 5:18!!

  • @michellepiccolo4564

﴿إِنَّ الَّذينَ كَذَّبوا بِآياتِنا وَاستَكبَروا عَنها لا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُم أَبوابُ السَّماءِ وَلا يَدخُلونَ الجَنَّةَ حَتّى يَلِجَ الجَمَلُ في سَمِّ الخِياطِ وَكَذلِكَ نَجزِي المُجرِمينَ﴾ [الأعراف: ٤٠] 40. Those who reject Allah’s clear signs and verses, and are too proud to follow them, have lost everything, because the gates of heaven will not open to their actions because of their disbelief; nor will they open for their souls when they die. Such people will never enter Paradise until the camel - one of the largest animals - goes into the eye of a needle - one of the smallest things. The aforementioned is impossible, and so is the idea that they will ever enter Paradise. In such a way does Allah reward those who stubbornly do wrong. -Quran Translation
