Great job! I'm actually experiencing the same leak on my 2011 LC9. Waiting for next oil change to swap this gasket as well. Thank you for the details and really great camera work!
Thanks for the info. Exactly what I needed
Farm Implement Blue epoxy from Rust-Oleum is a near perfect color match for your backhoe
This guy pick the tune, acording to his talking speed! It's a torture to me, being an ADHD on steroids 😅😅😂. But great video! Nothing wrong with you slow talking brother, is just me, youre OK!🕊️
Lol we talk a little slower in the country, bear with me 😆
The funny part of all is that's, I just now cot your first name, actaly you crank the speed dilemma a bit, when you announced it😂😂, My name also is Antonio. The poisonshot2020 was created in protest of the 2020 created virus and the forced on ppl the shots. What is your opinion on the 25s, after the 9 months? Mower specialy, lot of dealers advice not to get it, due to the difficulty of removing and place it back, plus having the backhoe. Be well and May God Bless !
Notice how the oil comes pouring out. The oil is coming from the galleries in the engine, held in the galleries by the anti-drainback valve in the oil filter. It would be much less mess if he removed the oil filter and let the oil drain in a pan prior to removing the block. Otherwise very informative video.
That's just a lot more work for not much, if any benefit.
Thanks for the video. I’m thinking of installing the same cross over line. But wanted to see if it would make a difference. This video sold me on installing one. Great video.
Now, when it’s time to clean that filter, we have to take it all apart again ?
I added a Flowmaster, which helped mine quite a bit, and I got the big wheels but my engines cleaner than yours . lol
Need to change mine, do you need to drain oil when changing?
Nah
This was a great video. Thank you for the good and the bad parts of the tractor. I’m looking to buy something for my hobby homestead. Are you able to buy attachments for this tractor?
Yes there's a lot of attachments for it including mower deck and there's a PTO on the back for all your attachments
Do you have a part number or a link
Tnxs Tony, big help, I'm buying one this month.
My 2010 5.3 began leaking a puddle per day. I bought the cooler line with gasket from dorman and leaks again. It's not a terrible job, just messy. I took my front drive shaft out for room. I definitely need gasket maker now. Oem gasket and silicone.
I've had the same problem with the joystick. They do have a kit to rebuild them
Yeah its like 250 bucks. Such a rip off. Ive wasted like 110 on trying to emulate the correct rod sphere but cant find them so im going to have to bite the bullet
@@Tactical-BullRider I just ordered mine from Chattanooga Tennessee it was 125 .
@@user-xr5nn3nr7d what was the website?
Mine is self destructing. 27hrs and has multiple issues, including leaving the factory with wrong pinion. Seriously underpowered. Shakes so bad my teeth are falling out.
😂
Move to my town and you will fit right in, they name it toothless town!😂😂😂
Great job on the fox! I am happy that you got the thief! Nice to see the fox finally lying peacefully next to your gun. Make more hunting videos, buddy! How often do you shoot foxes?
Did this stop the leak long-term?
It did for me, if it doesnt for you, the usual go to is to apply some RTV around the gaskets. That goes for any gasket
Happy to see you got him
Why didn’t you go with the cai?
Not sure I follow, CAI is short for cold air intake which is what this is
good job
I lost 4 to 500....chickens and in a few days the killer was back and I got my revenge...
Suffered way too long. Another shot needed
It was dead instantly. You must not be a hunter.
😎👍👍
Invest in a guardian dog.
I would love one but wife said no 😂
Chickens, open range but its the fox at fault. EEK!
Not exactly open range they had a yard, they have their wings clipped and 4 foot tall fence.
When we had a place in northern NSW Australia we had a lambing rate of 120-150% until the greenies got their way and fox baits were dolled out like gold coins, only so many per HA of your property and you had to travel 75K's to get another lot, had to justify why you needed them and then drive another 75K's home. Before that I baited constantly for a month before lambing but from the new regulations on I lost so many lambs I was lucky to end up with 50-60% lambing rate. A mate in town had 79 chickens killed in a single night. People have no idea of just how bad these pests are.
Could you of used livestock guardians
@@Tactical-BullRider from experience they are more trouble than they are worth.
@@JohnWilliams-iw6oq including dogs, like a Great Pyrenees?
@@Tactical-BullRider at lambing time many of these dogs turn on the young lambs. I've watched these dogs get so used to foxes that they accept them as part of the flock. My place was only small, but try running these dogs on 21,000 acres or 100,000 acres.
Thanks for this review, it was very helpful and more importantly, thank you for your service to our country.
You’re very welcome, and Oorah
This isn't like a normal tractor and when i drive it is weird. Like the break is where the clutch normally is and the forwards and backwards pedals are where the brakes are. And the arm control is near the dash and not the seat.
Love the chicken and the info.
Lol yeah I have quite a few animals around here
Those look like "rod ends" that link the lever. The eyes are probably wallered out, but I would guess you could find an off the shelf part to replace. I would check the parts diagram from new Holland and you may be able to buy from them unless it's only sold as an assembly.
“Rod ends” thanks for that info, I didn’t know what it was called! Yeah the new holland manual doesn’t specify the size or thread, I went to the new holland dealer near me and they were only able to find me the whole assembly for like $250 but it didn’t list the specs.
You should be able to get some digital calipers on the ID of the bore but it might be better to pull a less worn rod end or just measure the OD of the mating part. If you take it apart you could just take it to your local hardware store and they could tell you the thread size. Good luck!
Definite head shot that. Nice one
Thanks!

I put dye in mine it looks like it’s leaking from the same spot at that corner of the oil cooler gasket. Did this fix it for you ? I had my rear main seal done right after I got the truck I really hope they did it correctly GM dealer did the work so🤷🏻
How much did that rear main run you?
@@jcrpictures4405 luckily it’s was replaced through the warranty I purchased when I got the truck but if I remember correctly it was around $1800,$2000 parts and labor at a dealership. I paid $2,300 for the warranty when I got the truck and that’s the only thing I ever had to use it for before expired so technically I paid 2,300 for the rear main lmao 🤣
I did replace the block of plate gasket it seemed to clear up that leak but I have another one maybe coming from above the starter some where idk yet still searching for it
@@JamesSmith-je8sw 2k for the rear main is crazyyyy woww. Real deal stealership right there holy. That's an hour and half job for any experienced gm mechanic.
Guess that was a trail cam. Good result... How many did it get?

The test takes time for the engine to warm up and it will leak again because you did not use silicone paste on the face of cooller. Something like that happened to me until I used silicone paste from Toyota. GM should treat the frequent oil leakage from the gutter and the poor quality of spare pa
It will usually just start leaking right away if its going to leak from what ice seen in the past. But rtv is a good idea like you mentioned
Do you have the link? I just comment that I’m on my 4th gasket bc it keeps leaking.
@@t94zskss47 theres a part on the video where it shows the part number on the packaging. Just screenshot that and google the part number and buy rtv silicone
@@Tactical-BullRider oh I know that part number I only buy AcDelco but now when I do my netbook change again I’m going to buy a new one and some rtv and hope that’s the last time I have to do it
@@Tactical-BullRider I forgot to ask you. When you put the silicone do you just put a bead around the gasket or do I need to put around the holes too?
Jeez, the idle does sound much smoother. Might have to look into this for mine. Nice vid!
Thanks! Not a bad little upgrade for engine health
What size O ring for that Allen screw?
I ordered a 270 piece green o-ring kit by Performance Tool, part number W5201. Not sure if the exact size.
