Tom Dillon wrote the foreword to my book “Wheeler & Woolsey” (McFarland ). He was a fine gentleman and his wife Alice was a wonderful lady. Tom hosted a Bert Wheeler Night at The Lambs in 1988 when we ran Wheeler & Woolsey’s PEACH O’RENO. Tom and Alice virtually adopted Bert as a surrogate uncle when Bert was living at The Lambs in the 1960s. I acquired the video of Tom & Bert from Ed Sullivan Enterprises that is featured in this fine documentary, and presented Tom with a VHS copy.

Did the person recording this video NOT know his whispering to others could be heard on this video? The sound was terrible for sure especially for over an hour long. Plus: I liked Brenda much more BEFORE this interview. She was actually quite a ham during the taping and always going for the laugh and not allowing people to finish their questions.
Ninety five years! And still looking the part. Would be a real treat to sit and chat with her....
"Union Station" Could watch it again and again. Nancy, is obviously still young in attitude. The honesty in her character when she say... (I Paraphrase.) 'Its a mishmash of other screen plays.' (Stories) When confronted by Bill's character... Stands firm and gives her reasons. Amazingly attractive and intelligent individual with a big honest heart. Nancy, thanks for taking me on so many exciting adventures. I believed every moment!!!

Mimi Hines was a great talent, but I always thought she was an odd replacement , even as Fanny. Lainie Kazan was far more suited for the role. She was also greatly talented and was Streisand's understudy. She got rave reviews when she went on for Barbra. I never understood Hines casting. Even with Julie Styne and Stark's blessing. Never got it.

A great actor & a class act. I first fell in love with his striking good looks, charm & charisma, in the movie: Baby the Rain Must Fall. My guess is he didn’t suffer from the addictions and bad choices like many of his Hollywood costars of that era and he has been rewarded with a wonderful career and a long and healthy life.

I was shocked and thought it laughable and I got very angry at especially that Blank person...I hope progress will be made to rectify this. I adore Fredric March. I happened to catch BYOOL 2 years ago and he just blew me away...a light came on what a performer! Since then I try to see as many of his movies as I can.❤
