Bonneville Dam Fish Ladder, Sept 15, 2014. My Dad just had his 85th, Birthday on Sept 13th (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!) Took him on a roadtrip up the Columbia River Gorge (his 1st time). Stopped at the Bonneville Dam visitors center and watched the fish run. More than 95,000 fish ran the ladder that day WOW!

First time we ran the Illinois Central with the City Of New Orleans (8 cars). Layout is 2 reverse loops with DC (old school) control. Just finished installing track sensors (from TCH Technology www.tchtechnology.com/ ) SensaTrak with reverse loop module and polarity switch module. I love the snow..does it snow like that every year during the winter season?
I can't see well enough to be sure, but I'm assuming that the timer is triggering off the top micro-switch in the stack of three that follow the indexing arm cams. Where are you having the timer interrupt the indexing motor? The middle switch in the same stack, I'm guessing. What part did you use, if you don't mind my asking? I love these machines (I have roughly four, three with the ultrasonic head and base, one without, and several incomplete units that I keep for parts) but I'm not sure I could justify shelling out 100 bucks for a time delay relay.
Sorry, I'm new to CZcams, and was unaware you had posted this comment 2 months ago. To answer your questions; yes and no (as to the triggering) I've modified from the original wiring to make the logic work. as for the delay timer, those are relatively low cost around $10. But those too need some modification (to the circuit logic) to work correctly. I'd be happy to provide you the details in a one-2-one message (can we do that here? not sure, I'll have to check). My delay circuit differs from the other video (spin off delay) that was published by another person a few years back. I contacted him at the time, but was never able to understand quite how 'he' solved the delay spin off logic. so... I invented my own solution.
