I have been knitting off and on over the course of 30 years, and I learned traditional crochet in 2019. I'm intermediate to advanced in my skull level but Tunisian is something I only started to learn in the past couple of months. I've made several shawls from your patterns and I love them. I tried your stitch pattern but I used the Tunisian Double Crochet stitch. This made my fabric much lighter, more open and lacy looking and had stretch as,we'll. Your stitch is very nice and I will use it on my sample tunisian crochet afghan. Thank you for sharing ❤

Could you confirm for me if the written pattern is different than in the part in 18:40 where you connect to the 1st column? Example, if I am reading correct, I use the yarn A to yrh and pul, then drop A. In the video it seems that you drop yarn A and use yarn B to do yrh and pul?

I don’t know whether you realize it or not, but your onscreen text captions for this video are superimposed onto your video action (Tunisian crocheting) and thereby obscure the technique you are demonstrating! 😮 😟 In your other YT Shorts, you positioned the text captions at or near the top of the screen, which allowed us to see your actions/demonstrations in the center and lower sections of the screen. 😀👍🏻

Lovely pattern. If you don’t mind I would like to give you some constructive input..? In this tutorial your camera was not well positioned and quite a bit of the tutorial you were point to the work that was out of the shot. I got the gist of what you were doing but I thought you may like to know. I assume that if you don’t want to carry the yarn A forward from the edge to the centre of row 3 would you just cut it off and start with colour A in the first stitch and work away the tails. I prefer a blanket that is totally neat and reversible and doesn’t have a wrong side. Can you help with showing how best to work away the tails in Tunisian crocheting? Love the project and can’t wait to start. ❤
