Ein aktuelles Video wäre nicht schlecht. So wie hier gezeigt wird der Smartrower nicht ausgeliefert. Hier ist der Smartrower aus Metall, wird aber mit einem Kunststoffgehäuse ausgeliefert was auch auch meines Erachtens nicht sehr hochwertig ist, wenn man mit zuviel Druck rudert wird der Kunststoff auseinander gedrückt und man hat ein furchtbares knacken beim Rudern man hat das gefühl das die Rolle jeden Moment auseinander bricht.

Does the wall fixture need a stud for stability? Some internet pages suggest this?
Depends a lot on the wall itself i would think. On drywall i would at least have one of it attached to a stud.
The studs for mine were far from the place where I wanted to install. I had to build a 4cm thick plank, about 50 cm wide, to bridge those studs, and screw Slimbeam into the plank. I then painted plank same color.

I love live competitions where you can see opponents via live stream. Decided to go for a WaterRower with SmartRow.
So essentially the monitor sold with the waterrower is now obsolete? I guess it's nice you have something new and more accurate, but it stinks if you have one of these rowers and now you have to buy something entirely new and probably expensive.

Leider kann ich das bestätigen. Der Waterrower ist eher ein Lifestyle Produkt. Wer ein Sportgerät sucht, ist bei anderen Marken nach eigener Erfahrung besser aufgehoben.

Hallo, ich würde es lieben einen 20 min Core & Überkörper Workout mit dem Triatrainer von euch zu sehen. Ich habe den Bank zum Geburtstag bekommen und ist total begeistert von sie.
Geniale Anleitung , die ohne das sonst übliche Geschwafel unmissverständlich auf den Punkt kommt! Echt super!

@@martinjavinez9389 Es sind im Video drei Rollen zu sehen, über die das Kabel geführt wird. Eine Rolle halbiert bereits das Gewicht, zwei Rollen halbieren es nochmals und die dritte Rolle ein weiteres mal . Insgesamt werden so aus den 75 Kg des Blocks 18,75 kg. Man kann nun eine oder sogar zwei Rollen nicht mit dem Zugseil belegen. Dann erhält man 37,5 oder 75 kg. der Umbau kostet zeit und eine weitgehende Demontage des Geräts. Die Abstufungen werden dann größer, nämlich 2,5 oder 5 Kg. Dadurch und durch die verminderte Hebelwirkung fühlt sich die Last nicht nur schwerer, sondern in ihrer Kraftwirkung auch direkter an. Das sanfte Trainingsgefühl verschwindet und man benötigt Zwischengewichte, die es so im Standardset nicht gibt. Darum ist es besser 30 Gewichtsplatten zu verbauen und eine Rolle zu umgehen. Das ergibt 75 Kg in 2,5 Kg Abstufungen, macht die Sache aber auch kostspieliger. Korrigiert mich, wenn ich fehlerhaftes hier gepostet habe. Alle Personal-Trainer sollten sich damit auskennen.

I'm in the market for a WaterRower but have a few questions. To compete with other rowers on a screen larger than my iphone, what all would I need besides this software? One of those stand accessories and an ipad? Anything else? Would my Apple watch be part of this? Does this completely bypass the built-in WaterRower screen which I hear is a bit old school and lame? Hi Ayram, if you'd like to race while video calling with you friends (like in the video) you need a SmartRow and a tablet with internet connection. Using either Android's or Apple's split screen funtion, you can use various video conferencing apps ( like Google Meet or Zoom for example) to live call with your friends. Of course you can access all of our live racing options through your smartphone as well, but not all phones allow for good split view functionability.
