I'm deeply unimpressed with it I've seen a lot of videos including this one saying it was cool and I just don't agree . looks cool though not as cool as my real one it's really not very much fun so yeah if you're a grown-up and you ride in and you're expecting something awesome you're gonna be absolutely letdown I had some thing a bunch of years ago from target I bought for my kid that was way funner than this and it wasn't $600 it was 100 I'm done with Losi everything, what an extreme letdown.

As a grown man, I would think you would know that the chain stretches overtime, also it should not be tight.

Pulled mine out of the closet, had a full tank of gas, fired right up and I said the same thing, she’s tuned!!!

Had that happen also.Almost cried, thought I lost it. At the very last minute I (don't know how) hail married it but still thought it was gone. Looked for it for about a hour without luck and went home. Low and behold it was sitting on the ground in my backyard. Happy Days!!

Great video, they really bring back memories. I wanted to make mine a little better, (on the cheap) so in went a Tamiya Sport Tuned motor, Hobbywing 1060 ESC, 2S Lipo & Ball bearings, along with a SPT steel geared steering servo. Awesome buggy for the price, fun & memories 😎

I have loved RC10’s for as long as I can remember. I started out with Tandy/Radio Shack cars, then received a Frog for Christmas one year. Your RC10 looks fantastic. Running well! It is bad ass! I just resurrected mine after a 30+ year hiatus collecting dust in the garage. I’ll be trying it tomorrow for the first time since the 80’s. It had a brushed Traxxas motor/ESC out of My Nephew’s Bandit which I made brushless. He loves it! Thanks for sharing.

This looks like a lot of fun!! It is quick and handles that dry dirt like a pro. Very cool! I just picked one up recently and considered adding a brushless 3s combo. I worried that it’s too much for the transmission. Yours seems to be doing fine, so I may follow suit. Thanks for sharing this.

I'm having flashbacks mate! - i remember in the very early 80's a friend was given a Sand Scorcher by his older brother and i was stunned! - i'd never seen one of these japanese rc cars - so fast, so cool looking! I wanted one so bad, but we didnt have that kind of money - i's spend hours after school looking in the model shop window staring at the box art. I saved so much pocket money for years until i could afford to buy one - A grasshopper with a 540 motor - loved that car. I eventually got a second hand Sand Scorcher many years later! 🙏🏼

I had the Grasshopper with the bigger motor that ran this fast. I took it to school all the time in elementary school. We had races at recess. Found memories. My uncle had the Hornet and would race cars down the highway when he was drunk. It got crushed by a car one day.
