This channel is basically videos of our adventures, mostly Mountain related.
It started with short video clips from summits and has progressed to what they are now. The videos are just a reminder of our hill days for us, but really happy if others get enjoyment/information from them too
Please feel free to leave comments, but be aware I don't reply to all comments
Cheers

Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Established in 1931, Calaveras Big Trees State Park preserves a mixed conifer forest with two groves of giant sequoias - the North Grove and South Grove. The addition of the snow added to the effect, you really need to see these close up to appreciate how big they are.

We were hoping to drive most of the west coast but due to recent storms most of it is closed to traffic! What we did see was stunning though.

An Ultra Prominent Peak or P1500 there is a road to the top of this one but it was closed for the snow, so we had to walk the last mile.

Fantastic place been there many times
Thanks for sharing. Am enjoying the Corbetts north of Stirling. Best wishes!
I’m the guy that made it flat for two tents is there still enough room for two tents up there? I haven’t been up there in three years but I wanna go back. Let me know. Thanks.
From what I remember it's still pretty flat up there.
Somebody found my yellow crowbar. I saw it sticking out. I had it hidden. I’ll probably have two crowbars up there now. 😂
What an amazing experience, looks much more technical than Beinn Alligin which we did yesterday. 🏴🏴👍👍
Very haunting music. Brilliantly selected for the video
bequtiful - we did this yesterday. We decided to head North after hitting the summit and hended up dropping 800ft donw a very very steep slope. got the heart pumping with adrenaline haha
Have done An Teallach several times. Best was doing Lord’s Gully and left hand branch gully to finish one winter then teetering across the pinnacles under a full moon in crampons. Love the music. Who is it by?
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Sub & 👍3
Thanks! I want to do those 5.
czcams.com/video/A0Bd4TzEYyQ/video.htmlsi=_yVU47MnW32DHYRv This video is from Reel Life. Taken years ago of Mara Mtn. Lookout.
What a beautiful blue she is. Thank you
Nice drone work there Stuart, a tad warmer than over here. Landscape looks like it is from a movie, half expecting to see cowboys or even UFOs. ATB to you both. Kenny
Thanks Kenny! ufo's we haven't seen yet, there is still time yet though lol It's nice no having to carry waterproofs all the time, but we'll be home soon enough so they'll probably get used again at some time.
The Hitcher and Kalifornia were filmed near there
VERY hot. You don't want to be out there during the summer.
For those wondering. This is in So Cal, in the Mohave desert.
Correct it is hot in the summer, very hot. I used to live just down the street, yep HOT
A great video with just a bit more snow on top compared with my solo ascent in March 2024. Book times for this are a joke. The video shows the time spent working out route continuation. Also a pretty brave climb by the presenter, given the doom looking low cloud. Would not fancy going back down in mist. In fact the return with bits of hard snow and ice did not appeal. I bottled out and went off south then East but there were still some rock bands to get around, lower down. Just look at what the Munroists going up Maol Chean Dearg next door are missing. It may be higher but it ain’t harder. A great Corbett.
This brings back memories - I climbed this with a friend in Sept 1991 on an extremely hot windless day. About 100m from the top we got slightly lost and ended up too low down and to the right (on the crest of the Pinnacle Ridge) The last bit up to the top from there without a rope was the nearest I've come to a serious situation in the mountains!
I did it with a friend in 2022. It was foggy and wet we got off the main track and also ended up to the right - that last part just before the summit was the most scared I have ever been on a scramble tour (and I've done several grade 2 / grade 3 scrambles). To make it worse: We lost track again on the descend and ended up going down on the wrong side. By the time we realised it was too late and we had to walk around the entire mountain - with more scrambling obstacles along the way - to get back.
Looks like a great hike.love being up on ridges with views like that.was it a long road walk at the start?
No, we drove to the ski centre and you're pretty much starting uphill from there.
Great video!
you two are superstars
If you enjoy this sort of terrain then get yourself off to Picos de Grédos and Almanzor in central Spain, SW of Madrid. Twice the extent and twice the height at over 8000ft! Summit it in a day from La Plataforma car park.
Thanks I'll check it out, we've never been to mainland Spain yet.
Looks like a nice hike! Were you afraid of bears?
It's always in the back of our minds, but we carry bear spray etc and hope we never have to use it.
Best music EVER 😂
Nice one, was half expecting to see the Glen Brittle camp site in the distance at the summit there....very Cuillinesk. Hope you are both having a great time and enjoying the warmth. ATB for 2024 Kenny
I wish I had more time to complete the whole hike! I only saw landscape arch
I’ve been there. So cool, thanks!
Music too loud..
Thanks for sharing! Good drone footage. It’s an amazing area. We have been back to the Dinosaur Quarry when they were working and digging. Keep sharing your adventures for people to enjoy. 😀👍

Along with The Grand Canyon, Monument Valley has to be one of the most amazing locations on the planet. Thanks again for posting!
At 3:33 I saw some vegetation and at 5:32 there is a bird. There is life in Death Valley!
My favorite place in SE Utah! Great video. Ive spent months and months exploring Needles . Theres amazing off trail adventures too.
Well, now you're just taking the p*ss, Stuart! 🙂
Stop! I can't take any more of these incredible videos, Stuart!! 🙂
Haha just taking advantage of good wifi at my sister in laws house probably be April again before I get more posted.
@@stuartclarkScoobtube Have mercy on us poor sods stuck here in Blightey!
Beautiful
Awesome!
Fantastic place..perfect music..thank you
Another place ruined so you can get views
Really! It's an advertised hike on the BLM gov website, how did we ruin this site?
What the ****! This has to be your best video yet, Stuart. Are you sure it wasn't the planet Mars you were on. Or something psychotropic?! Words fail me..., for once!
It was real, and it felt like we actually were on a different planet.
@@stuartclarkScoobtube If I were to get any greener with envy, people would start to call me Treesa!
Nice ♥
I am also a traveler and am thinking of becoming a CZcams blogger. I got inspired by your travel videos; it's simple, and for me, it's just all about what you see to be captured by the camera. This is where I need to start. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for the kind comment, the videos are really just personal reminders of our adventures for us, but we are happy that others enjoy them too. Good luck with your blogging.
Looks like you had a great time over in the USA and Canada, Stuart. Great videos -- thanks for posting, as usual -- and in this case brilliant choice of music. Joe Bonamassa, 'Midnight Blues', if I'm not mistaken. Have you heard the original by Gary Moore, which is, IMHO, even better?
Yes I have and I agree, Garry Moore was brilliant. We still have 6 months to go over here so lots more adventures planned.
@@stuartclarkScoobtube Ok, well, I hope the rest of your time there is equally great -- and keep posting the videos! Makes me green with envy. :-)
I love the music in this video!
Thanks. I thought it wouldn't even have a cactus at first.
perfect sound track
I didn't care for your music in this video.
