Hi Kathleen! Your trip to Oregon and Alaska sounded wonderful!! My kids were also impressed with Alaska and often talk about working a summer out there. During our travels, which included interior Alaska and not just the southeast arm, we met so many people working at the various places we stopped who were from all over the lower 48! 😂. You sound like you'll be one busy gal this next month or so...livin' that cross stitcher's dream of traveling to retreats and LNSes 😂. Hope you enjoy them all and I'm looking forward to hearing all about those adventures too! I'd love to get to that Stitch New England retreat one of these years myself! Safe travels!

I've enjoyed listening and watching while stitching this morning. All your pieces are lovely! Years ago, in the 90's, I learned to use a damp sponge on my thread, and have been doing it ever since. It really keeps the thread straight. I've been on three Alaskan cruises, so enjoyed hearing about your trip. Wishing I could go again, for sure. Retirement is the best, so don't just think about it. If you can, you should. That's my 2 cents worth!

Hi Kathleen, boy you really got around this last time. Congratulations on your possible retirement. I also retired under similar circumstances, otherwise I would still be working since I loved my job. Mary Poppins and Ink Circles seem to be a lot to stitch for me but your choice of floss is beautiful. I am currently stitching my first sampler and enjoying it very much. I just purchased Pony needles from Steph but haven't tried since I love, love the Colonial smalls the were introduced to me by Jackie - Comfort Stitcher. The quilt behind you is very pretty. Always so enjoyable to watch your video

I loved seeing your hand dyed fabrics! I've done it a little bit myself, it's so fun. I have an opinion on which fabric I think would look good for the witch boot and nose. I LOVED the blue ish hand dyed you did that had the dark spots on it that made you crazy!😆 So appropriate! See you at "Wild"!

Hi Kathleen! I've been a fan from your very first Flosstube! Your totebag is fab! Don't know if I could part with it, it's so wonderful. Re Something Wicked and Toil and Trouble: whatever fabric you choose to stitch them on, you should do two separate works but frame them the same. Double the work and expense, but having two pictorials in one frame would not be as nice looking as having each of them stand alone, IMHO. Hanging them one under the other would be best since they are landscape aspect. Looking forward to your next video!

I'm envious of you traveling to Sitka. I lived in Juneau, then Anchorage for almost all of my life, moving to the extreme heat and humidity of the south. I want to move back, and we will. Anyhow, do you have the special corner Q snap clamp for the Lowery? It may alleviate some of the problem.

Hi Kathleen, I can understand how awful your sticky weather is since I have lived on Florida all my life. The tote bag is very beautiful - those colors are awesome. I would love to follow you to that retreat in hopes to exchange gifts - ha, ha The little girls from Lilli Violette are adorable (love DMC but recently purchased 30 spools of silk 100 3). Your fabric dying is so inspiring, congratulations you have out done yourself! The project bags are also great, I have yet to buy one because of the cost. I buy pretty notebook sleeves from Amazon that serve the purpose and run around $10-$15. Hope you have a great time on both trips

Probably a silly question here, but I've never been to a retreat before & do not live in North America...anyway, can we use a credit card to pay for purchases made at retreat vendor booths or do we need cash?

Now I could spit out my tea if I were drinking some! 😂😂😂 So, I'm seeing that Matilda chair and thinking, hmmm, I would need to alter those colors. And then I remembered...all I see is in her chest area...😂 rather than arms... Congrats on your new stand! I'm impressed that on your beachy scene, the white still shows so well. Those kids are cute! Hi Kathleen! I sure do hope you are able to find your pattern for the ABCs piece you're working on. It's so frustrating when that stuff goes missing. My stitching mojo is on vacation too. I haven't picked up a needle since June 8. It always comes back with a roar, though, so the break is good for me😊. Thanks for showing the floor frame. I'm really seriously looking into getting one that would work with a Q Snap. My wrists really need some relief when I'm stitching, but I love my Q Snap, so whatever I get will have to accommodate it.
