PSA is for sure inconsistent and I still think they grade the BIGGER stars tougher. For 1980s-1990sI will get a few 10s on the minor HOFers but with Griffey they will give me an 8 or 9. In the past year the grades have got worse...not sure it is the influx of new graders at PSA or just that they are told to be stricter. I have graded over 2,000 cards the past 3 years so hopefully I am not getting worse picking cards to grade.

Psa grades panini tougher because they are in cahoots with topps.

Gotta watch how you mail them too. What did the Receiving Scans look like? Make sure you always look them over and save them if needed.

Man i would never crack a bgs9.5, thats about as good as u can get! Kinda wasting money, but it is just my opinion, & u know what they say about those lol.

Just my opinion on the Griffey Jr. and the Henderson, I would say they got bent when they pulled them out of your card sleeve.

Always record a pre grade video before you send to PSA. That way is something fishy happens you have proof

grading cards are the biggest scam out there. It's subjective to the person grading the cards.

PSA is trash. They will fall off their throne. Inconsistencies, damaged cards and pop control will be their downfall. Just bc theyre the first doesnt mean theyre the best. SGC and BGS are the top 2 companies hands down.

Nice sub! Love the variety of the sub as well. I posted a video of a modern order that I was so nervous about. It contained lots of low serial numbered cards with extremely low pops. It ended up being a fire order! Keep the videos coming and you gained a new subscriber.

They make sure to always give a few tens, on the semi stars or newer not popular players. Now if ur mailing address was Geoff Wilson’s then those herberts and Brady’s would be straight tens. Guaranteed

I’ll stick with SGC for my PC. I’ll let the flippers and short term investors that can’t grade a card on their own use PSA for them easy grades and premium. The premium being the extra cost, hassle, wait time, crap customer service and percentage of the value of the card PSA takes.

PSA has "expert" graders right? Wrong! People just got trained and have no idea on how to actually grade. Don't expect new employees working for a company with a reputation to give you accurate grades. Stick with SGC and in time you'll be happier you did.

You know...when I watch you guys reopen slabs and submit NUMBERED cards...u can't help but wonder...why you think grading services would even look at it again?... its literally serial numbered....you don't think these companies keep logs?? They already knew those cards were graded...but already knew what grade it was given...all you're doing is wasting money.

Id NEVER crack a non-chromium card if it has a BGS surface sub grade below 9.0. If its a chromium card then there is a chance the surface can be cleaned . PSA usually focuses more on corners and surface. You may be missing something on corners - try looking at the corners with a 10x loupe. sometimes you see it at 10x mag. Good example is that Griffey. I could see 2 corners were already questionable by the naked eye, which means under a loupe they are worse...those 2 will knock you down to at least a 9 9maybe 8). BGS surface of 9 does not mean perfect...probably means print line or scratch so its not a perfect surface to PSA as well, which is another grade knock down. You are at an PSA8 without even really inspecting the card completely (edges, centering).

I dont slab , as a collector for over 50 years . i buy the card and not a grade that a third party grades

If you get 10 people grade a card…..do you really think they are going to be the same grades??….there’s no difference with what company to grade with….I’ve seen enough viedos that prove my point….people have got to stop trying to figure why there card got whatever grade…it’s human nature…10 graders will never grade the card the same grades….try it with your friends……a no brainer…..

On the Brady Gold Holofoil X (i have bad eyes) I seen a dinged corner on it. You really need a magnifying glass to look over the cards. It will show flaws the naked eye can not see.

Guys not trying to be rude but I will be. Get it through your thick skulls the owners of Psa own goldin auctions they also own various eBay selling stores. They buy cards and they grade them themselves and sell on their own auction sight. They are dishing out psa 9’s like crazy because they are increasing their own psa 10’s. A huge recession is coming and they are scraping every last dollar they can at your expense. I didn’t renew my subscription because I can see what they are doing. They are giving you guys 9’s and giving themselves 10’s.

I think it’s weird that it costs more to cross over through them than it does to just grade it. I’ll do it myself and save the money.

I enjoy crossover videos, and I probably would have really enjoyed yours, it I can’t stand when people put so much effort into hiding the grades the whole time. You talk for almost a minute on each card but only show the grade for 2 seconds…

It Looks Like You Lost Money

PSA is too inconsistent to do the crack and re-sub. I have seen a lot of bad re-sub reveals.

For example that Justin Herbert Legendary Logos originally getting dingged on edges and you were showing looking at the face of the card and seeing no white. Yes that can be true but edges are inspected from the side where there is white. Especially the thicker the card the more potential problems with edges.

Agree with most comments, I have graded a few thousand cards with PSA, usually you can tell when something grades on the lower end when it comes back if you really scrutinize it. Human nature to look at things with the naked eye and question the grades. Interesting video none the less.
