Why would you do that in a monorepo environment? An organization with 500 developers will have many teams creating their pipelines independently. What if two teams both name a job `run_tests`? Or how about artifacts? This doesn't seem to scale unless either you write extra scripting to check for every collision possibility (why would we be writing that, not GL?) or give them each their own child pipeline.

In Gitlab's latest version, as mentioned at the end, the tests about the direction run are no longer shown in the 'tests' tab but from the security report for vulnerabilities that are found. This makes vulnerabilities easier to identify and manage :)

The example at 3:38 seems to disrupt the traditional job model, by bringing in a number of jobs into a super job. Why break the existing paradigm that is so loved by your users for something new? It also seems to require sequential actions instead of parallelism. Why not just introduce step and action as sub-keys of jobs instead so we can have the increased flexibility and simpler mental model of constructing a job DAG?
