I'm baffled by the abundance of people criticising the scene for being uncomfortable to watch. A naked body is the most natural thing, he just stands up and walks away, an adult guy. What is the big deal? Are people just so sensitive to nudity or what? Since when are human bodies something so utterly special to look at?

I’m not gunna lie… I didn’t need to see that lol. I don’t mind when it’s like boobs or an ass but I don’t need to see your genitals… makes me feel like I’m invading someone’s privacy or something even though they chose to show it on tv 😂

The scene was integral to the story. It's about showing his 'manliness' and invulnerability even at his most vulnerable state. Also ties in with being the Second Son and always having to do/be more to feel appreciated like the firstborn. "We are the realm's second sons, Daemon. Our worth is not given. We did not need to see it. Did nothing for the plot. We did not feel safe or comfortable.

I’m not a big fan of sex or nude scenes HOWEVER I always hated that there was no equality when it came to movies and shows specially on GOT. The producers/directors would have every female cast take off their clothes and get completely naked for every one to see but you would never see a attractive male actor fully naked in the front. How many times do we see prostitutes and main female actresses fully naked in the front and not once we saw an attractive main male actor fully naked in the front? Even when they show John Snow laying down death they show us his torso but they stop the camera so his bottoms wouldn’t show. When it came to Daenerys or other female actresses they would take any chance they get to show them completely naked having sex. Finally there’s more equality. If they want to show the world fully naked attractive woman they shouldn’t feel insecure to show the world fully naked attractive man too.

There are tiny little movements he does with his face as Larys that makes him so scary and creepy but omg Mathew is so different. He’s done such a great job

Ewan is truly a work of art

Usually not a fan of these scenes as they rarely accomplish anything storytelling wise, but this was great, last time he was with her he was completely open, vunerable and comfortable. Aegon removes his desire to be open and his comfort by making fun of him, just leaving him vunerable. Aemond just stands up, proving he comfortable and doesn't care what Aegon thinks. In all honesty though, i do feel the motivation behind the scene was "see, it's not always female leads getting naked" and we'll see more of that in the future, but still, it was well done and worked as "show don't tell" storytelling

I don't like when nudity is exploited only for shock value. It could've easily been done using a different angle that would not require an actor to expose himself. Same goes for women. Maybe he's comfortable like that, but I'm getting uncomfortable for him as Ewan not Aemond, it kinda took me out of what was going on in the show

Makes me want to get a ripped body. Very impressed at the dedication that Ewan Mitchell has put into this character & role. I mean, Aemond Targaryen is such a badass character to play. No one could do it better. Bravo, Ewan.👏

You know what this scene was to me. An inverse mirror of Cersei's walk of shame. Cersei begins her walk proud and without caring (in the books at least) but later on she feels shamed and tries to hide. Here Aemond begins afraid hiding from the eyes of those that mock him but then stands and as he walks away reclaims his pride in a way telling them I am untouchable and beyond any of you. Absolutely brilliant

I loathe the Greens and rep Team Black. However, I love these two. They had such a sweet dynamic that makes me happy.
