Alaska Solstice Adventure: Crossing Cook Inlet Under the Midnight Sun
We had a last-minute adventure taking a fishing boat across Cook Inlet in order to have it ready for a bear viewing and fishing trip the next morning at Big River Lakes. Since it was the longest day of the year, light wasn't too much of an issue, but crossing the inlet could mean dangerous tides and big waves. Fortunately, it was a beautiful and calm evening on the ocean, and all went as planned (for the most part).
