Outstanding
I just saw these guys at The Triffid in Brisbane and they have still got it. What a great gig!
This is great! Love The Church and this epic song!
This song and Radiohead Creep will be played at my funeral. #GenXcirca71
The audience around them saw something priceless. Many probably for the first time since they heard this tune in 1988 can say they were finally hearing the tune from the horse's mouth.
A timeless classic in a great version. Under The Milky Way is one of the songs I can listen to hundreds of times (and play it also myself on the guitar) and never get tired of. The Church is in my eyes one of the best bands ever - completely underrated, especially here in Europe.
🤠 fantastic
🌌🔭😎
A show they did do
This song is poetry. Sweet melancholy. I rediscovered it some time back, and it haunts me every time I listen to it.
superb beautiful song
Just a great tune, epic!
Música linda!!! Quantas recordações. Lindas recordações.
Great version!
I love this song! Wish they came around my neck of the woods.
Wish he would have sang it like did in the eighties, this is dull.....
OMG INCREDIBLE GUYS !this song moves me !
Congratulations from Brazil and you made a song that will last forever!!!!!!!
Brings back my High School Days.
Ladies and germs...we are officially close to getting old...in about thirty years.
So Many great songs by The Church. Ripple somes to mind. Best albums: Priest=Aura., and then Starfish and Heyday
Heyday is a perfect album. I wish I could have seen them on that tour.
Yes and in that order too! "Grind" is so good and it rarely gets talked about. Heydey as an overall album I like better than Starfish but the songs that ARE great are iconically great like "Reptile" and Under the Milky Way of course and then you have blood money and destination two more fantastic songs. there's no way you can put an album with those songs third in a list and you definitely can't put Priest = Aura, a true masterpiece from begining to end and as a whole, 2nd.
Hologram Of Baal is fantastic too, feels like the artier sequel to Starfish
I thought I may have spotted him at a restaurant in New Mexico the other day. I could not put my finger on why he looked familiar!
Must have been a doppleganger. I saw The Church play in Fremantle last Sunday and they are in Melbourne and Sydney thius weekend to wind up their Australian tour.
That's a pretty good performance.
Where's Tim?
Awww I love them so much😘😍I wish I knew what I was looking for💜
my 80s alt cover band starts every gig with this song. it's so good. thank you to the church for creating it
This song always puts tears of joy in my eyes. Reminds me of John Lennon at his very best.
Interesting cause it kinda does seem like a Lennon song.
Beautiful 🎵
Lovely song❤❤
great live song
My❤ Band. Best
Starfish...One of my 80's desert island must haves....
Same
I put my ear buds in..pop up this song from the’90’s..lay back, close my eyes and just vibe. Some songs just touch your soul.
Love this version, thanks for posting!
Anybody know the identity of the picture frame lady?
The photographer whose pictures are in the background is Karen Mason Blair. She photographed a lot of famous Seattle bands in the 1990’s.
Great!
Love the song ..but he doesn't sound at all like the original? Is that the original vocalists?😮
He is the original vocalist.
Yeah right on. I enjoyed that.
One of the best songs of the era. Just hits on all cylinders. The album production was incredible. Could listen to it forever
Timeless song, nice band with lots of chemistry interesting drumkit!
oh rats! missed it by a month! LOVE this song!!!! <3
Always loved this song..:) Brings back memories..
Ian thanks for your guitar pic in tacoma. You guys should include a powder finger song in your set sometimes!
I adore Ian! Great guitarist!
The whole album is great! Great job!
❤
They sound good!!!!!❤❤❤great song.
Shame they only got the sound on a mobile phone but good for you lads .👍
I am pissed off that I missed this: The Church is my top 3 bands of all time...
Oh man. They didn't do this one at Music Millennium.
Wow, Steve is playing a bass with frets.
