      Really can go either way, whatever works for you. I prefer hand on headlights especially smaller ones like this, i just feel i have more control and if you’re good enough with it you dont need to tape anything off.

    So, no UV protectant for the plastic? Don't the headlights come from factory with a UV coating, that sanding and buffing will remove?

    • @djtrax909
      @djtrax909 Před 10 měsíci

      You have to sand with the two pads that come with that kit. One pad is 1 and 2 the other is 3 and 4 then you polish them with the polish that comes in the kit and then spray the coating on. I do restorations and thats what I use. I've had it last for over a year or more and still going. If the old clear is peeling you'll have to start your sanding with 400 or even 320 grit. What he's doing here is a good job also.

    * NOTE: Please keep in mind, there are many different processes/approaches/ways to detail interiors...This includes different tools that can be utilized, as well as different products. There is more than one way to generate great/similar results! YOUR way is not the only and best way, and MY way is not the only and best way. UTILIZE WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU! This video is simply a breakdown of my interior process, and its the most efficient method I've found in over 15 years of automotive detailing. You can utilize my process exactly, or you can take bits and pieces that you like from it. AGAIN, this is MY process, the end results speak for themselves!

It works great on some carpets/fabrics, but can also destroy certain carpets/fabrics as well. Personally I don’t use it on seats, only on carpets.

      @@spineguy1553 no doubt. You can get results multiple ways….as I mentioned in the top pinned comment. The headlights condition plays a huge role of course. Not every headlight is gonna be the same and there are still multiple ways to generate good results. I could have done 1000 and went to 3000 buffed it and they would have looked great. But they wouldn’t have been as on point as they are with the process I outlined, and certainly won’t last as long.

    Do you have any problems with the Uberflex hose and spx3000? Mine tends to not run properly and I have to take my tip off and run some water out the line every other squeeze of the trigger

    • @beeceedetailing
      @beeceedetailing Před rokem

      You do have to bleed the washer from time to time. Has nothing to do with the uberflex. The pressure washer needs the air bled out. Squeeze the trigger and run water through it before actually turning it on for 30-60 seconds. Then turn it on and run it for 10 seconds. Then turn it back off and squeeze trigger without power for another 30-60 seconds. That should bled the air out and then it should function accordingly.

    • @beeceedetailing
      @beeceedetailing Před rokem

      Usually about a 6 months to a year (depending on a few factors) and then you will start to notice a bit of oxidation come back. Nothing like how it was originally, but it will get some yellowing to it coming back that will be noticeable.
