Welcome to my channel! My name is Brad and I live in Northeast Arkansas, about 8 hours from where I really love to fish (The Gulf of Mexico). I love the outdoors here in Arkansas too though and partake as often as I can. I hope you enjoy my videos!
Tried to catch bait, caught a big flathead instead!
Had about an hour to kill before I had to get ready to go to work. Decided that I was going to try and snag a couple of Asian carp for trapping bait to use in the fall. Ended up catching my personal best Flathead Catfish on the third cast! Time well spent before work!

Getting a little snagging in before the workday starts.
When i was younger a buddy used to take me to the dam and we would snag huge carp and cats . Wasnt till he walked up and burnt my line with his cigarette. That i found out it was illegal. He said the warden just pulled up boy!! It sunk in at that point lol. Last snagging trip ever
Biggest blue I cuaght was a 55-60 pound an biggest flat was a 20-25 pounder

That's not fishing
Thanks for watching. My target was invasive Asian carp. The flathead was bycatch. He was legal, welcome, and very tasty. I will catch some in the mouth soon and post it. Take care.

U started talking about coons and so on, I actually found a mouse one day put it on a hook,caught like a 2lb channel but it had a baby musk rat in its belly that popped out like a spring! When I cleaned it! Nice fish bud!!!
In most states it's illegal to snag and keep catfish

I was out there yesterday and only got carp. That was a very nice flathead, I have been catching some nice ones at the siphons on shad and sunfish.

I am ether going crazy, or I am correct but it looks like you are fishing maybe 10 miles away from my house😮 I say this because it looks just like P-Way. I didn’t spell out the exact location just abbreviated it but it is in Arkansas.
