I work as a graphic designer with my own company in Sweden, called Formidag. I'm mainly working with 2D graphics, layouts and illustrations, but I also do some animation and 3D - like this little production ident. It's basically a play with my logotype and done in After Effects with the signature theme composed in Fruity Loops.

The old ident (both the Finnish and the Swedish versions) for Finnish broadcaster YLE:s Cassette and Disc Service that used to precede VHS tapes with YLE programs. The service was called "Tallennepalvelu" in Finnish and "Kassettjänst" in Swedish ("Cassette Service"). The chimes jingle is a modified version of the classic YLE radio signal.

12.02.1994 - 12.02.2024 30 years ago the 17th Winter Olympic Games in Lillehammer officially opened.
I can't believe it's actually thirty years ago! I remember vividly watching the opening ceremony and ever since I've loved and listened to "Nåde" by Iver Kleive and Knut Reiersrud, the musical masterpiece played during that magnificent segment when the Vätter danced and brought up and opened the Tellus Egg, containing a peace dove. So lovely and touching!
@aatox I'm actually too young to remember the games itself, as I was very young then. But for those who remember it, it must have been something great to experience. And most of all, a great moment in history of Norwegian sport. This was actually the second time time Norway hosted the Olympic Winter Games, the first time was in Oslo in 1952.
I cannot believe it was 30 years ago! This was the best Olympic Games of all time - Summer or Winter. Apart from the great sport and the blue skies every day, it was the Norwegian people who made it special. Their support for all the athletes was amazing. Anybody who watched it will never forget Lillehammer 1994.

Eer… no, not 1990. It was 1992, just like the title says. This was before the Winter Olympics shifted to every other year from the Summer Olympics. Actually the last time both Olympics were staged during the same year, so the winter games of Lillehammer were arranged already in 1994.

Motion graphics were so fun in the 90's
Fun in the positive sense, yes. There were more creativity given the technical limitations, people tried interesting new solutions and made great visual discoveries. In my opinion most graphics today are too streamlined and similar, we have unlimited digital possibilities, but most creators don't use them.
