I am sorry for the racism you have experienced in China. Actually China is a huge country with size bigger than Europe and population more than 1.4 billion. You might meet some rude people in China as well in other countries. So just fight back when you feel racism but please believe the majority population of Chinese people are good people and we do have good relationship with Africa.

I did not live in China, but I did visit. I spent more time studying in Taiwan, which I know is quite different from China. I had an amazing experience in mainland China. As you stated, they are very friendly people, and because I spoke Mandarin, I had the best time ever! But I know visiting for a short vacation and living there are different. I can certainly see how being asked those questions all the time, day after day, can be very tiring. You have to have a place you can go to take a break and get away from it all. That said, for the most part, coming from the US, I know that racism in the US and what a black person may experience in China are two very different things. To put it simply, Chinese may have preconceived notions about black people, which, once they meet and interact with you, can evaporate quickly. On the other hand, racism in the US does not change based on your individual character. They simply hate black people, even if you are a regular, decent, respectable person, as most black people are. The Chinese have not had a lot of interaction with black people, so their awkwardness and curiosity is more understandable, even though it can be exhausting. But, generally speaking, I find the Chinese people to be very open to honest discussion. So, when you have the opportunity, let your Chinese friends know what you experience and how you feel. Be open. Be frank, but respectful and communicate with each other. This is about the Chinese civilians, not govt, and of course, like anywhere else, there are nice and not-so-nice people.

it's not gonna change ...imagine you see a green colored person walking down your street you'd be curious and if the green man speaks your language, you'd ask him questions.....that's because you live in a homogeneous society. It can be tiring if you're not extroverted and love to be surrounded by people all the time...all you can do is think of yourself as a cultural ambassador for black people you want to teach them about your race , the more the better.
