As a Buddhist monk, in the past I have always had a sense of something ‘wrong’, missing, in the lack of Buddhist explanations of how a ‘self-unit of consciousness’ reincarnates, and how it evolves from relative degrees of darkness (or ignorance) towards Light until the accomplishment of Enlightenment. The way Yogacara philosophy explain it suffice for all Buddhist. But can be, in my observations and ponderings, restricting access to higher ways of reasoning where for instance a ‘reconciliation’ with the Buddhist concept of the Soul (tathagatagarbha) and the concept of Atman that the Hindus mistaken as eternal Soul can be brought in to its rightful place, as Bodo explains it here. This higher (abstract) reasoning, will for instance, be considering how the ‘self-unit of consciousness’ (Soul-form) evolves through and beyond time-space (being, non-being) by being karmically part of the collective consciousness (alayavijñana) of group Soul. And so, once the meditator is able to glimpse that by direct perception, he can then proceed to aim to it consciously. And later on, at a higher bhumis, enter the door of Sunyata experience and finally to Dharmakaya which will make Him free to travel into cosmos without the need to incarnate in a physical body. Obtaining the Dharmakaya body enlightenment is what we Buddhist aim while chanting the Heart sutra but it is interesting to see how hard is for any Buddhist to discuss about what is commented here.

This is so rich with wisdom. I just came away with both new things to read up on, and new ways to approach my own illusions. The best kind of homework ;) I also found the rectification of the apparent difference between the Hindu and Buddhist views on the soul to be very insightful. They're BOTH right, just at different stages of personal evolution 🤯

Very insightful, thank you sir! I really appreciate your definition of 'emptiness'. I think many people often equate that term with just 'nothingness'...like it's some kind of divine nihilism even? But the way you describe 'emptiness' as an active and alive mind that's free from attachment to results is much more liberating and useful. Practical emptiness! In that way, by cultivating this kind of 'emptiness' does the Ati-yogin allow the Divine Will to work unimpeded? Like, I'm seeing whenever emptiness is not achieved there would be essentially an electrical resistor at play in the mind that attenuates and redirects Divine Will, thereby warping it. By that thinking 'non-emptiness'(i.e. desire and attachment to results) distorts Divine Will in favour of Profane Will(selfishness and attachment to Samsaric forms). And that's why SELFISHNESS is so debilitating to Soul evolution...selfishness causes the Divine Will to be curled up and bound in a highly limited space, instead of being allowed to flow freely as needed to accomplish its original aims. I think I'm starting to get it here...now I just have to find a way to recover the bits of my brain still peppering the ceiling ...🤯

You will think I'm crazy but when i was a boy I saw a light being. I was walking through the woods near my house. The woods are surrounded by cornfields on both sides. The wooded area between the cornfields was pitch black that night. I looked to my right and i saw a human like figure made completely out of light. The light was very bright. Almost like the high beams in a cars headlights.

So, what can I do? I don't even know what I did... nor did I know about "powers." I DID watch some videos on Kundalini Yoga... but like all other videos related to trying to learn what Buddhist meditation, there were warnings that anything was bad or forbidden. 1st my sex organs became extremely hot. Then I started hearing malevolent voices. Then painful energy began cramping my 2nd Chakra area. Sometimes it cramps my solar plexus. It will seize my brain and taunt me with shameful, redundant, past experiences. Some strange fluid built up near my left thyroid area. It can put me to sleep. It has kept me in bed... almost hypnotized. It uses neighbors to annoy by dropping objects wherever I move. It says it's a Buddha but acts like a demon. I just turned 70. I've learned a more than I knew. Can I expect to die like this?
