if you are wondering about how I am able to use fly mode or have been able to know the skips that I use in my runs there is a speedrunning discord for this game. basically this is a video to prepare for the upcoming category that is going to be made on speedrun.com i believe its going to be called (true any%). in the normal wing category hitting f11 is not allowed because it windows your game and causes it to lag which allows the skips to be done where you get massive height from certain interactions which is not allowed with the rule set for the wing% ...

This is the first game I've ever played where i found the genuine urge to speedrun, not even for a placement or anything just the challenge to myself. I just finished my first sub 30 run and knew i must be losing time all over the place since I've never watched a wings run done, but man I had no idea how crazy some of the skips could be looks like I'm really gonna have to fine tune my movement this made me feel disgustingly sloppy. Absolutely phenomenal run.
This run with the special frame perfect trampoline bounces and other tech skips makes this run kinda fun but also kinda a nightmare its why in my other video I was bitching up a storm about a certain horse skip because it was up to fate and no lineup is 100% which was draining a lot of peoples sanity to even hit to the book which I did, which is not normal and insanely lucky. Some people trash on the wings mode but its quick nonstop skip after skip that you have to be consistent with ontop of movement so it looks easy because i easily put over 160 hours into just learning everything but its not as easy as everyone makes it out to be.

@@CaptunCat can you not get a good time without finding shortcuts? just seems like it defeats the purpose of playing a game if you do everything the easy way, i mean dont get me wrong i used the wings and skip here and there but for the most i want to play the game not skip every challange rather than feeling like i completed an obstacle course when all i really did was go around it, you know.... and its a genuine question, i have a friend who does the same thing on a lot of games and i dont get it, im just trying to understand where the sense of accomplishment comes from.
