Dr. Chris Berg sounds delusional. I can understand his concerns about the Enneagram, but him criticizing the Myers-Briggs and other psychological tests of personality is absolutely laughable and ludicrous. He can just come out and say he is entirely against psychological science and thus admit he is more into pseudoscience than empirical science. As someone with his intellect he is simply wasting his cognitive energies into refuting and speaking about things he has no idea about. He should stick to theology as this makes him look like a bad representative for us Christians.

The "Global Methodist Church"!! Am I to assume this is the same church that has fractured the WHOLE Methodist organization and NOW EMBRACES LGBQ and Sex Identity and Homosexuality and everything else that is MEANT TO BREAK DOWN SOCIETY??

After all Jesus came for the lost. He would have gladly invited any and every person involved in these different depictions to sit and talk and eat with him If nothing more tend to share the gospel. Those are the righteous don't need the doctor, those that are sick and lost do.

According to the France Olympic committee, they were not intending to insult or be negative towards Christian beliefs. However, the official Olympic committee does not allow any religious activity or kneeling down and praying or showing the sign of the cross or anything like that during the Olympics. So in my mind they have violated their own policies by doing something that is similar to the last supper which is a religious Christian activity. Second point I'd like to make is that they are using tax dollars from the Olympic committee which we the United States contribute to, to create this parody. And I have a problem with people using tax dollars that lend itself towards any of those LGBTQIA+ initiatives, or religious activities whether pro-christian or pro satanic etc. None of them should be allowed with our tax dollars.

So sorry such a brilliant scholar conflates promises with prophecies. The damages replacement theology has done for centuries is incalculable. There may be those who say Israel can do no wrong but I’ve never heard anyone say it and it would be scripturally absurd. But that has done far less damage than Martin Luther and the ‘reformers’ did when he wrote out the game plan and gave the ‘churches’ blessing for the pograms and the holocaust in the name of Christianity. The church is the church and Israel is Israel, and God’s plan will be fulfilled in Christ just as His Word says. There’s not just a few promises but hundreds of prophecies. I think u will like this story …. I was married to a malignant , phycopath ( member of the dark triad ) narsissist . He held me and my son hostage for 5 years . We suffered horrific mental , physical , emotional , financial abuse and couldn’t escape . I rang the police for 5 years to try and get rid of this creature . He gaslite the police to thinking it was me . Finally god intervened and sent me messages everyday till I finally took notice ( I was not a Christian at this Point ) but he knew I needed help . I said “ god send me a sign and I promise u I will get out ) the next day there was the brightest gold false fingernail in my laundry ( not mine ) it was a direct gift from god to show me to get out ) straight away I started my I started talking to god to ask for his help . The narc came after me with 2 lawyers to take everything I owned . God became my lawyer ( I didn’t have any money to get one ) god said I’m your lawyer I will write the letters to them . Me and the lord wrote all the letters to the lawyers and after 9 months we won and the lawyers did they couldn’t believe what happened . That narc got nothing and all it cost me was a stamp . I have been free for 2 years and I pray everyday to my father and he is with us everyday . Praise god Amen 🙏

All absolutely true! I feel so thankful for these clear words. I come out of a horrible 34 years marriage. He insisted on this new affair/girl friend, his porn addiction s were horrible, his silent treatment got worse and worse. Finally, one evening I threw a bug into the sink and said to him: enough is enough, your book title. My health issues disappeared the day he moved out, almost two years ago. I am sooo glad to be able to deepen my relationship with my Lord. And yes, the pastor did NOT get it.

2 Corinthians 5:8 i always used that as my argument for no intermediate state, but we know Jesus when he went into the grave set prisoners in afterlife free per 1 Peter 3:19. Its an interesting topic. Good episode. And then Revelation 20:10 -15 about devil and the beast and then hades and death being thrown into lake of fire for eternity if that is hell we speak of and if that last forever. I dont think anyone gets out the way I read it but maybe there is a state where we are in hades and or something like that and then judgement happens. Soo naybe onky unbelievers are in a intermediate state but Believers are in heaven.

I think Dr. Walls over complicates the concept of continued sanctification. I think that very simply we won't carry sin with us after death if we are in Christ, because our eternal life is in Christ. If we want to term that moment a "moment of purgatory," then I have no objections. But I don't think that we will need continued sanctification after our death.

WOW, I wish the book was out when I was in seminary at NTS and took History of American Christianity and Life and Thought of John Wesley. Well, I will be reading it for personal enjoyment.

Enabling is very harmful in toxic relationships. Holding young children accountable for their behaviours while young, is so important. Spanking a child (not beat them), can help a child to respect authority from their parents in order to turn from their sinful mannerisms, from a biblical worldview. Adult children that were unruly towards their parents in the Old Testament, were “stoned to death”. Narcissists are full of devils. God’s word teaches a person HOW TO LIVE, in order to be blessed. A lot of ignorance here. Scholars such as late Dr.Gordon Fee (an Adviser in NIV) and Dr. Craig Keener answer all these questions from exegesis from Greek and answers objections. In a word, tounges are not necessarily a "language" but as Acts 2:4 says "as the Spirit gave utterance". Some times the Spirit may give utterance in a language form .(As at Pentecost or as recorded in some rare times by missionaries...but most times not in a language but something only known by God from the human spirit. Many critics have not even read the scholarly works above .

Some groups of conservative Mennonites used to, and may still use the lot to seek pastors. They put a piece of paper in a Bible, put several Bibles on the altar, and then have selected candidates come forward and chose a Bible. The one who gets the paper is selected.

On the London marches - Bishop Wright would actually have found Jewish rabbis walking with other Jews, with Christiansm with Muslims, and with many people of no religious faither - what united us (I am one of the Christians who walked on two of these London marches) - what united us was our attempt to do something to protect the adults and children trapped in Gaza from the terrible suffering and death which is destroying them. These marches are not marches of hate. i watched the great affection expressed towards Jewish people on the marches I was on. The policing was meticulous. The Metropolitan Police Commissioner and his officers have been wonderful. and the marchers have been friendly and appreciative. I do wish that people would not make or repeat untrue statements about other people. In the Gospel of John there is the wonderful passage where Jesus tells his followers that God will send the Holy Spirit to support them - the Spirit of Truth. Lies and deception are very different from God's plan for us. The Commandments handed down to Moses on Sinai say "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour". This is not a trivial commandment. The consequences of spreading untrue allegations can be devastating.

The comments section contained a discussion between a student and a PhD regarding women as pastors; the student’s argument was far more persuasive. Certainly there are many women in the Bible that God used for a great variety of purposes, but none were pastors. Junia was not an apostle, but known to the apostles. To assert that women were pastors in the Bible or to assert that Junia was an apostle is to eisegetically interpret the Bible, and quite frankly, to deny the authority of the word of God. History has shown that denominations that ordain women as pastors will become apostate churches, just as the UMC. The GMC will experience the same in due time. I was confirmed in the small United Methodist Church just down the road from my home. My ancestors helped build that church. My maternal grandparents and my parents were married in that small church. He was a young George Whitefield, powerful and passionate sermons, a genuine zeal for God and bringing sinners to salvation. He taught that the word Bible is spelled with three I’s: inspired, inerrant, and infallible; to which I would add two more Is and two As - immutable, invincible, authoritative, and all-sufficient. His high view of scripture and the authority contained therein was conspicuously evident throughout his time with our little church (we would have been happy to have him there until he retired). If the GMC does not adopt a high view of God’s word and the authority contained therein such as written in the Scot’s Confession or the Westminster Confession, the GMC will quickly fall. The progressives and their lord Satan are working fast and furious destroy God’s word. Evolution or are we made in God’s image? Six literal days for creation in Genesis or something else? Moses would have understood six days to be six days as he received the Ten Commandments. How old is the earth? Did the flood really happen? Did God really destroy Sodom and Gomorrah? Universalism? God created sin? Jesus was not God when he was in human form? Sexual immorality doesn’t apply to consenting adults? Abortion as an acceptable form of birth control? The GMC must take a strong, immovable stance regarding the Holy Scriptures first and foremost. If you are to be a delegate, this must be the most important aspect of church doctrine, followed by the immediate elimination of all forms of liberalism. Failure to do these things will result in the GMC serving Satan, dead in their trespasses and sin. Their pastors becoming false teachers as warned in 26 of the 27 books of the New Testament.

Theologians/teachers who deny the role of the nation of Israel in the end times are generally descended theologically from the Roman Catholic church or thereby to the Church of England/Anglican outfits on to the Reformed theologians to the seminaries and out to poison the pews. No serious Bible interpreter can say that a fair reading of Romans 9-11 does not ordain with authority the role of Israel in the last days and God's dominical authority proclaiming that "All Israel will be saved." I would add that theologicans/preachers who hold this idea, especially in seminaries, are probably closet or open Democrats and voted/will vote for Biden and his clown fest of carnality. They treasure "fitting in" with traditional/racist theologies more than God speaking in His Word.

I am an Episcopalian, orthodox but not especially conservative and not at all fretful about human sexual diversity, my view is definitely more Prima Scriptura than Sola Scriptura, but I agree with this view of the Bible.

Abortion is the best salvation for the majority of humanity if Christianity is true. Most Christians agree that an aborted fetus would go to heaven...which would guarantee that they would be saved from eternal conscious suffering in hell! Mark 9:42-48 shows why birth is the worst option for most people. Why do Christians ignore what the bible teaches on hell? If hell is real then abortion is the most humane thing that could ever happen to any potential human being ever! The risk of eternal torture if true will always outweigh bringing any finite life into this world. So how insane is a religion that makes human extinction the best option to human suffering? So the question for forced birth extremists is which is it? Do you honestly believe hell is real or is the bible lying? Are you ignorant to what eternal conscious torture is? Are you in denial that exponentially more people will be tortured for eternity than claim a life in your heaven belief? Or do you just disregard and hate conscious life and don't care about those who will be tortured for eternity? And this flawed thinking by the so called pro-life movement and Christians is what makes them so dangerous and showcases their hypocrisy. They think they are moral but are far from it! They place the worth of a non-conscious being over the well being of every human on the planet. You see this in their worship of Trump's authoritarianism, supporting those that do nothing about climate change or gun violence, supporting those that do nothing about America's unsustainable health care costs, supporting those that give tax breaks to billionaires at the expense of the majority of Americans and forcing raped 10 year old little girls to give birth. The pure hatred for all conscious life is the foundation of christians as shown by their real world actions.

If acceptence of aberrant sexual behavior is something this guy wants why doesn't he just remove himself from the Nazarene fellowship and find someplace where this is accepted instead of trying to stir the pot? I wish this information was available to me 38 years ago. I knew I live with physical abuse but I first heard about a narcissist about 6 months ago…WOW this was 100% my life. I believe true he’ll and then I spent 10 years after a prolonged divorce mourning and wondering how he could so easily let me and out 4 children go and now at 69 years of age I finally understand. I always say better late than never to learn! Thank you for your work! I can tell you without hesitation your children do suffer and turn on you. Mine go back and forth
