Hi Cindy! I am not going to be using the fairy lights in my quilt, so sorry. I have had several issues with them in the past, so I choose to use crystals instead. When you normally plan on doing the quilting on a block, the instructions tell you to cut the fabrics 1/2" larger than normal, to allow for doing the quilting. I think, because this block consisted of 4 blocks sewn together, they forgot to allow the 1/2" in the final cutting instructions for the block. Then that made the block the exact size it needed to be in the end, instead of the 1/2" larger. It still works, but we just need to hold it down until the quilting starts stitching. :-) Yes, we did survive! Thank you! Hugs. 😍

Hi Stephanie! Welcome! I am using a Babylock Destiny, which is the same as Brother Dream Machine. What size hoops do you have with your machine. You can make most Kimberbell projects with 5 x 7 hoop, but you won't be able to use their quilting designs. If you have a 6 x 10 or 8 x 8, you can do most of their projects. The ideal hoops would be an 8 x 12, then the sky is the limit as to what you can do. 😊

I do my embroidery on a Husqvarna embroidery machine and just wanted to let you know that I have had no problems at all with any of the Kimberbell designs. As Molly notes the hoop sizes you have may limit you - but your sewing machine should be fine! I have some larger hoops, so I have had no problems with any projects.
