We both want to let you know how much we appreciate that you have decided to become a part of our little corner of CZcams. Your words about us were also very moving to read. Danette and I have always said that we want people to feel how much fun and joy we feel doing what we do on the channel. We are. indeed, not trying to be Influencer's. First and foremost we want to always just be ourselves. We are best friends, and we hope it shows. We try to have fun, adventures, and conversations and share those things with others. Thank you as always, Freddy, for your insightful and fun recap. We agree so much with you, that the Lower East Side and its close neighbors are the birthplace and definition of what food in NY is. Eclectic but grounded. Elevated, but accessible. Native New Yorkers always scoff at the "Tourist Trap" thing about Katz. Because we can remember when no one but us knew about it. lol. After all, they didn't just pop into existence in the last ten years courtesy of a national chain. And yes, a true tourist trap would have lowered quality and shrunk those sandwich sizes ages ago. Economy Candy was everything advertised. Nostalgia for every kid, no matter their age. 8 or 80! And you bet we love to run into chatty friendly people. (The world is full of them if you look around.) You guys can sometimes cover so many topics at once that I had to edit my original post cause it was so long that I doubted youtube would print it. As for David Lynch, as you know I think, "Muhalland Drive" was actualy being developed as a Tv series but it was not picked up, so David then decited to make a movie instead.
