I just opened this booster box. No major hits. But I got an Origin forme Dialga gold and I’m surprised it’s less sought after! It’s a cool card!

The TCG tends to follow the games rather than anime so there's nearly no Ash at all. There are cards featuring Red (your character in the OG games) though. I think this is also why Jesse and James have almost no cards as, despite featuring heavily in the anime, they're barely mentioned in the games. The last full series saw the end of Ash's adventures. The current series , Pokemon Horizons, focuses on new protagonists and features the Paldea starters.
