Great video, thanks for sharing.
Good idea on the weed guard flashing idea.
Thank you!
Okay - what soundtrack is this?! Loving it! And the set-up!
Thanks, I will find out and get back to you. I'm in the process of creating new videos and will review the sound tracks I used previously.
Thank you for sharing your tips, and I learned something from your video about adding a surfactant. Which I will start doing with my Roundup Weed only Killer. Thank you again Sir.
Thank you for your comment and watching.
@@diymyestate you’re welcome Sir.
gonna do that this weekend, great video, great instructions
Yeah, you can remove the painted door cover by pulling up on the tab then you don't have to worry about the tape or scratching the truck.
Great work , I like it . I'm gonna start mine now
Thanks for watching, let me know how it turns out.
Thank you for posting this!
It is amazing how long Ford let this simple problem remain without a redesign. I went a slightly different direction with my fix but conceptually the same. Great video.
PARABENS PELO SEU TRABALHO E PELO SEU CUIDADO. VAI ME SERVIR MUITO ESSE VIDEO.
I did find value in this tutorial, but was unable to contortion my arm around behind the panel to reach the release tabs on the fuel door assembly to release them. I gave it a good try for around 25 minutes, and after scratching my arm all up (yes I was wearing long sleeves) I gave up. I have the standard lift and standard sized tires on my 2011 F150 XLT. From a different youtube video I found I went with the 90º pick tool from the front. Using the pick tool and a nylon bicycle tire lever, I was able to loosen the tabs and move forward with the replacement process. I will keep the original and implement your technique with the drill and screw as a back up.
I don't think any surfactant actually got into your second test section because the liquid that was in the hose between the canister and the spray nossle was not exposed to any soap. That being said, dish soap is an ionic surfactant, which can interfere with the efficacy of the herbicide depending on the pKa of the product. Non ionic surfactant is made to address this problem. All in all, your sample size is too small to draw any meaningful conclusions, at least based on this test. That being said, out Republic is under seige, and we must root out anyone who does not support and defend the Constitution.
So u went about 2 feet into the ground?
Thank you
I just grab some product and will be using surfactant 2 great job
Thanks for watching let me know your results.
Great Job!
Ok if anyone owns a 2019 you can’t snap off the plastic gas cover. That’s ok cause the 2019 doesn’t have bolts to remove. You will have to push in all the clips holding the housing. And as they unsnap when your maneuvering the housing off you will also need to help the rubber seal around the gas opening off. I watched this guy - (google) 2015 - 2020 Ford F150 Loose Fuel Door Repair STEP-BY-STEP And it helped
FORD CAN GO SCREW !!!
my truck has a metal wheel well cover. did you remove yours?
Very good video mister .
Enjoyed watching your video for the mailbox post as this is a project that I have been wanting to do for a long time. Now that I am retired, I am planning on doing the same so thanks again for doing this video - just hope that I am a successful as you were - also just subscribed to your channel
Beautiful job! I give 2 thumbs up!!
Thanks! Great stuff here!
Does the water need to be turned off?
music sucks
Great video. Very detailed. You saved me the $350 quoted to fix it by the Ford garage.
Can the door cover can be remove by just pushing in the tab and sliding the cover off
I watched about 30 videos and this is one of the best. You used basic tools and made a high quality professional post! And you cover very many important points. Thanks for the video!
Thanks! Easy fix!
Thank you for helping me become a better farm hand!
Thank you for watching.
It would help to know what year models this applies to…
Thanks for the informative video. I will give the additive a try
I had fender liners. I loosened one screw on the fender liner near the fuel neck line just so would not catch my arm. I found I could reach up and push the two bottom clips which aided me in being able to push the other top clip he mentioned. I used a stubby flat screw driver to aid me in pushing the top clip down as I was at the maximum my arm and fingers could reach. The stubby just gave me the extra little bit of pressure needed on that one clip. Everything worked exactly as he described and I’m definitely glad I found his video this is the right video to watch as he said in the beginning. I used more tape as I think I need more coverage than he did but that’s personal preference.
Thank you! I have metal liners so I'll try removing it this weekend
nice work. what a beautiful place you live in. cool
Thank you! I'm having this problem with my F-150
This was a tremendous help. I just fixed my fuel door. The only suggest is that can slide the decorative door off if you pry the tab on the inside up.
Thank you help a bunch
Great explaination & details
Wow, great help. We have a 2003 TC29D and the starter switch has become extremely difficult to turn. Now we can get at it and either clean it up or replace it. Thanks so much posting the video!
Like how detailed it was. Good angles and focus on the video.
You been gone for 9 months, everything ok?
How do you like your New Holland TC33D? I just bought a used one with just over 800hrs. I’m excited to start using it since it’s my newest tractor to date.
I love it! I purchased it new and was the only piece I owned when I purchased my property. I used it for mowing, moving and removing tree, installing the new lawn, tilling, grading and many, many more task. It currently has 3900 hours and runs as good as the day I purchased it. I keep to the maintenance schedule it helps with its longevity.
I can't reach the tabs. Maybe I'll try to take the tire off. Any ideas?
Not sure it may help. Thank you for watching and your comment.
Thank you for this very helpful video.
Thank for your comment and for watching.
Nice job. I’m going to give it a try. Thanks
I've used the diy version of weed killer. Vinegar, salt, and dish soap, but I've never thought to use the dish soap in roundup. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Btw, I love your log house and garage! Beautiful!!
I fixed my last week and I was looking at it and I did the same thing with the little screw on top so I won’t come out again
Very helpful video, Tape was a great idea, thank you!
The white flower weed is called 'hairy bittercress'. I would use 'Speedzone' herbicide on that.
Tape was a good idea. I was able to get it out with a long screw driver and (interior) vinyl prybar popped right out with no damage. I also put the screw and washer on to prevent it from happening again. This was a very good video, thanks!
