My previous best was in the 3 .24 range ... so I actually shaved 3 seconds off my best despite missing a gear change and the monitor freezing momentarily (I covered it up with an exterior shot) ... definitely a lot of time to gain if I ever get a perfect Run

My Best Run So far.... not that aggressive but at least I manged to get the car going straight - its actually easier to get through the hairpins but getting out of them on the other side is tough cuz the car basically only wants to donut everywhere in every gear

I Finally Did it!! I Beat Richard's record on Pirka Menoko with the MG Super 1600 .. not even a perfect run ... This was the 2nd time I was able to do it that day, but the audio was messed up on my other run. Just using vanilla RBR.

great driving, is it a default setup ?
Yes, I would probably make the differential less locked to make it easier to drive and go straight but I'm trying to adapt to the shortcomings of the car and actually know I'm improving rather than just make the car easy to drive ..

RWD rally and hill climbs > 4WD/AWD.
iracing has Trophy trucks in both 2wd and 4wd and I swear the 4wd take only like 30 percent the skill to drive
I think 4WD and AWD are the same thing man.

I'm pretty sure it's just Pikes Peak Lidar edition...I downloaded it ages ago but it had both a long version and short and both Gravel and Tarmac versions ....I only like the gravel one though myself....
You can go flat out in the first sector, you could gain around 4 seconds
I would but It's really hard to put your foot down with this car it only ever wants to spin even trying to go straight if u look at my wheel u can see me correcting for this out of the corners but if I just slam the gas I would spin.....Btw I just posted a new Video check it out!

Good race, how do you have the clutch configured?
This car doesn't need the clutch, I'm probly just resting my foot there ...but sometimes I might use it to soften/slow shifting so i don't get wheel spin
nice video and I completely agree. Had many great races within the last months, improving me on IR and SR. Had also several great and clean races too. But my last 4 races were all wrecked by idiots on track, taken out of races by aggressive, stupid drivers which meant they are winning in the first few corners. I'm really close to quit iRacing due to this unfair rating system. Loosing always rating as innocent driver takes all motivation, fun and joy and is ending up finally in wasting time, hours of time, for nothing. The only thing is dissappointment and frust.
Didn`t see your comment, but hope you didn`t quit .... I dont`t think the system is bad as a concept, its just too harsh - If my internet connection goes out before the race I loose 100 IR for not showing up to race... that's 1 failed race which will take me a minimum of 3-4 races just to get that back.. that`s like 2 hours of hard racing to make up for a 4 minute internet outage - its just ridiculous.... I`m making an effort to not worry about it anymore... and just race for entertainment... but if you really invest in your Rating I think its bad for your mental health to be honest .. especially if your like me with limited time to practice and race.
Just got this car a couple of days ago after being traumtized by These cars in grand prix legends 20 years ago. After what you said i'm glad i didn't get it earlier😂 it's so much fun but i'm Not Sure i'm gonna race it anytime soon, bc it's still very hard
There are so many comments so I usually dont reply, LOL .... but anyway yea, I remember that game... I sorta feel the same way, I can just barely competently drive it, TT it but racing is probably asking a little much :S ... kinda wish it was a fun series so you wouldn't loose SR, then people might participate / or like I said in video Increase the SR Bonus a ton to make the risk worth it
