My cousin was two rows up at the site of the impact and said he was sure he was gonna die bc he just looked up and saw a car airborne at more than 150 mph headed for the catch fence and made peace with his maker, thank god for Dale

I did not get to see this crash in person, but saw it live on TV coverage. Very scary moment. My heart sank. All I remember thinking was the 3...at Daytona...please God not again.. I am not a huge Austin Dillon fan by no means..but it was so wonderful to see him walk away like he did. Thank god for all the safety innovations the unfortunate death of Dale Earnhardt brought to NASCAR.

How Austin survived this is a pure miracle! They say he hit as much as 40 g's!
