M5 LDC Operation and Configuration
I show the basic operation (on/off) and the configuration options of the M5-LCD screen. This particular screen is what the SMLRO XDC600 Dual Motors 22.4AH 2000W 26" Fat Tire Electric Bike comes with, however I know many other hub drive electric bikes comes with.

I don't know about the M5, but the M6 has a USB A port on the bottom. Pretty cool to charge your phone or use some USB powered device. But I don't think it can communicate over USB, only charge.
How do you factory reset?

Mine has no power to run the bike 🚲 and keeps saying earros thumb throttle dose not work and display doesn't work All the way to 20 Zero thumb throttle.

That is a good question, because yours has additional configuration options, they may be out of order compared to mine. I would reach out to the manufacturer.
I have the Vtuvia Gemini. How does one control the throttle. It's almost like it goes from 0 to 100% (like an on and off) . I move the throttle like 1.5cm and the motor kicks in hard. It does go faster as it picks up momentum. but still it has a kick. It's not like an motorcycle "accelerator" where you press it 1.5cm it goes upto 20km per hour. then move another 1cm it goes faster to 25 or 30km per hour. then another 1cm it jumps to 35km per hour and then full throttle goes to whatever the maximum is. Reason i ask, say i want to drive slowly down the street (cruise) then i only want 20% or 25% throttle if i keep it there. Currently if i have either 0% power or 100% power. which means it will pickup speed. My only option is, i have to press and release.. press and release to keep myself say at 20km per hour. otherwise it will pickup speed to 40-50km. Any advise?
I don’t have that problem with my bike. The throttle is pretty gradual.

Can you at wire schematics for the controller on this model ,+ part#s. I am having problems trying to get replacement parts from China,they just Gave me the run around.

To what do you pump your Fat tires, i have the ChaoYang 26inch x 4" that came with my Vtuvia Gemini 26inch Ebike. Same thread as the tires in your video. These one's state 20PSI / 1.4bar max. Yet the Store where i bought my Ebike from says i must pump it up to 2bar or 2.1bar. I'm bit worried and asking others that have similar tires or experience.
I have three similar bikes with these tires, and I run them at around 15 psi, it helps for a much smoother ride.
Nice I have the same bike and have made every mod possible to it. I can't seem to break 40mph even on 58.8 volts @ 30amp, shunt modded both controllers, upgraded all the power wires to a larger gage. All the connectors are now xt90s. My goal is to get it to hit at least 50.
That would be pretty sweet! I did notice the wires were pretty small and the controller seem to be maxed out at around 12 A or something like that.

If you want to explain anything, explain everything. How to get into bios. How to make adjustments once in bios. You explained the first, now explain the second. How to change from P1 to P2 etc.

I wish I could remember, by default they come locked down to a slower speed. I think I had to hold the right to break handle while turning the bike on, it could’ve been the left, but I’m not not sure now, but after that, it was allowed to go full speed

Peddling and throttle. The throttle operates the front tire and peddling operates the rear.
Use both throttle and peddling at the same time. The throttle makes the front wheel turn and peddling makes the rear wheel go.
correct me if I'm wrong, but this is basically the same bike as the philodo H8?

The housing itself is not waterproof, but the controller is waterproof. The connections may not be though.
Have exact model and power keeps cutting out on me.. If battery taken off n put back or charged it runs for small time then quits AGAIN rather quick matter of seconds and idea of problem.. thanks from "Sore Thighs"

Is there a way to reset the display to Factory Settings ? I pushed to much buttons...now (even when P10 is on 0 or 2) the pedal assist is not working anymore, when I put it on 1 for only throttle that works. Any help very much appreciated, it drives me crazy I can't figure out what's wrong 😞
I am not aware of a way to factory reset, if you can just set the settings, the same as what I show.

Haha, thx for the reminder. I actually have a little review that I never posted. It’s video of me taking the bike in about a foot of snow last winter. I’ll try to post that in the near future.
Awesome video. I have the newer screen that comes on the Keteles K800. I also reached out to Keteles and they gave me the factory settings which pretty much mirrored yours. P01=003 (back light level) P02=000 (KMH or MPH) P03=048 (voltage) P04=010 (screen timeout 10 minutes) P05=005 (first number = when the motor helps 0 or 1, 5 = levels) P06=29.0 (tire size) P07=086 (? Not sure) P08=100 (speed limit in kmh) P09=000 (0 motor helps immediately when you peddle) P10=002 (0 is pedal assist only, no throttle, 1 is throttle only, 2 is both) P11=001 (sensitivity of peddle assist 1-24, 1 is the highest) P12=005 (intensity of power delivery 1-5, 1 is the most) P13=005 (number of magnets on crank sensor 5,8 or 12) P14=012 (max amp draw of controller) P15=38.0 (under voltage cutoff, 38v vs. 48v) P16=002 (cruise control, N/A on the Keteles bike) P17=001 (reset ODO, hold mode button and ODO returns to 0)

@@chrisstinkering3651 I have the newer screen on the Keteles K800, and thankfully, that worked! I do have 1 additional screens (18p) but that was a binary choice. That’s what I get for rooting around in there. I turned off the throttle and messed up the number of magnets which cause the speedo to stop working. You saved my bacon man and I appreciate it. Thank you for this video, in your opinion do you really need the second motor? I like the 1000 watt one motor xdc600, but cant find any reviews comparing the 2. I think I would get more range with just the one motor but looking for some feedback
Hello, sorry for my delayed reply. I will sometimes disconnect to the front motor and run with just the rear. I do prefer having the extra power though. Having the power available. So, if you get the two motor one, you can just disconnect the front tub when wanted.
serious question. Do you have to Hercules to unplug pin? I'm trying to replace my cracked screen 🙂
They are very challenging to unplug. Be careful not to break it.
@@chrisstinkering3651 Took it to a bike shop and got it replaced. Even the guy who unplugged it had to use his strength😃
Was looking to get this bike but there are no reviews of it. Would you recommend it? and what's it's top speed?
I would recommend this bike. It’s been a lot of fun. TopSpeed is about 35 mph.
I've put about 25 miles on mine, and it's pretty fun. I'm about 190 and it cruises on slight up/down at about 30.5-31.5. I've had it to 34.8 as max speed. I was hoping to safely goose the speed, because I want to commute and the paved curvey hilly no shoulder 55mph road gets treated a bit like a race track. I work at night and that's worrisome from behind, 45 would be safer, not to mention shorten trip time. I don't want to fry anything, so the amp regulator should limit that, not allowing me to cook it if I set it for way too much and thermal detonator the battery pack. Wonder if a gel cooling wrap would help with that... Or a copper tube cage for a liquid chill...or I could spend another 1k on a different batter, lol.
When your pedalling and then twist throttle for front wheel can u keep pedalling or does the throttle take over?

Top speed is around 35 mph. With it being a big bike with big tires, it’s not scary and comfortable at that speed.
i am having issues with a cliensy XDC60d looks very similar to what your working on ,there are 4, 3 wire connections. i need to know what colors go to and from each to controller . when i got it the wires were torn out .any help would be appreciated

What's the controller rated at? How many amp?
There are 2 controllers, I believe each one is 20 amps.
Can the motors be selected or is it all wheel drive all the time?
Sort of, not really. If your only using pedal assist, it will only use the rear motor. If you use the throttle, it will use both motors.
@@chrisstinkering3651 That's a bummer. I'm wondering if it's worth it to just order the single motor version then. Or I'm wondering if there is a way I could wire up a switch that would effectively be a front motor cutoff...hmmmm. Sorry I'm a computer tech and once the creative juices start flowing...Lol. I just hope this time I don't blow myself up again...
@@chrissinclair8705 sorry I did not mention it, but you can easily unplug the front motor. It plugs together on the side of fork, you just need to make sure that both ends are zip tied so they don’t get caught in the spokes. I’ve actually done that a couple times just for testing purposes.
I think it’s nice to have the option of the additional motor/power.
