Awesome song, got a lot of along the watch tower energy from that main riff tone. I do not want to sound like a jabroni, this is your work and I resepct it. My car speakers suck, so I will listen again at home to assess again but is there a bass track ? I definitely felt some moments that could have just been "zazzy" perhaps, fuller with a stronger bass line; I mean that in a good way, I liked the song so much that I became concerned for the character development of the bass. I know I said something similar on a different video. Do you have any tabs or tracks for it that you would be willing to share, if not thats totally cool. I am going to try and see if I can translate what I Was thinking into a video.
I don’t have tabs for it, but I can tell you its just Amin and G, and then later on I go down from A - G - F, then back up. As far as the solo, its mainly pentatonics at the 12th fret, and a few down to 10th on 5th/6th string.
I have a ridiculous affinity for music videos so this is great. Like the energy, I'd be curious what some over driven bass could do in place of the synth (or what I think is a synth track).

@@amplethought Ahhh, what were you using to record? Back when I was in the day my friends and I recorded on a Boss BR1600 (or 1200, also when consumer digitial recording stuff sucked for the most part) and we could not get anything to sound remotely close to what it "should" have sounded like. Didn't matter if we main lined it or mic'd it, the tracks sounded like Goth techno run through a Temu fuzz pedal.

Forgive me if I assume incorrectly, but, it sounds like you are more of a progressive kind of guy (not a derogatory comment). Having grown up abroad the two party system in the United States always seemed "lacking to me" and it is a shame that "democracy" is reduced to red vs. blue. I found it ridiculous that you had to be put into one of two viable parties, it is just so limiting. Unfortunately, money has become politics. Personally, I think Bill Clinton was the last true American president as he was the last one that was from nothing and made his own way into politics. I feel you on the savior mentality, because as I mentioned in the last episode, it is just so disingenuous. Further, I think the savior mentality both polarizes the voting base more and it ties directly into your previous installment of this series where we see politicians relying on false promises to set them as far apart from their opponent as possible.
I do characterize myself as progressive. The biggest thing I’m trying to show with this series are the inconsistencies and near childlike ways in which they attempt to backpedal, hide, lie, and gaslight. I have my opinions about both Bill and Hillary separately, and together. I’ll get into boring stuff, and more relatable, easily understood discrepancies with politics as the circus that it is.
One of the important things to remember about the election eras during the Vietnam War is that it was the advent of the "30 second clip" (probably said that wrong but, in essence, it is the same thing) and the pernicious nature of this has led to the modern campaign advertisement strategies that we see today. The vast majority of campaign ads are "look at all of these things bad about this person, so vote for me", seldom do we see a "vote for me because I'll do this", perhaps that ties directly into the premise of this video as we all are aware that most of these campaign are disingenuous at best because nobody believes what is said, let alone promises coming to fruition.
