Tethered swimming (Improved with snorkel, paddles, and fins)
It's summer again so I took my paddling pool out for a dip during lunchtime. My local pool doesn't allow filming so I can only film myself in a tether. A bit of thought and improvements compared to last year:
1) The pool is too shallow (65cm water depth) so I find it less disruptive to swim with my fist clenched. I find holding paddles at the forearm level helps with feeling the water - resistance is great when water is being pushed backwards.
2) I need to kick much harder for my legs to stay afloat in stationary water. This can be compensated with a pull buoy or fins. I swear my kicks aren't normally that bad.
3) The tether and sinking legs make it much harder to rotate my body. It's much more relaxing to use a snorkel.
4) Cadence needs to be slow otherwise there'll be lots of waves in the pool.

Sunflower timelapse again. This time it's filmed outdoors so the colours aren't as good; and no more Edward Scissorhand background music. On the plus side, there are many animals walking around in my garden! Cats, birds, foxes, and a deer! Unfortunately, grey squirrels stole all the sunflower heads after the seeds started to form!

This is soundtrack for Edward Scissorhands
We've done this too. Ours is 3 metres long and 2 metres wide and 33 inches deep. If you get a straight snorkel, it is much easier to do crawl as you can breath without needing to twist(no trough to breathe in when tethered as you dont have forward momentum to produce it).
Coming back here helped me reminisce my childhood days. Nostalgic ngl❤

I grow these dwarf sunflowers in single pots every year and give them away when they bloom.

I was viewing the song Girassol today, which when translated means sunflower in Brazilian Portuguese because the sunflower gyrates y follows the sun. The band cuidade negra puts out a powerful punch of this song dedicated to a very special flower. Cuidade negra translated means black city but in Portuguese. It is reversed y the adjective follows the noun as in many Latin script languages. It has nutritional y healing properties as well. Farmers use it to enhance the soil y it also attracts many birds, bees, y other wild creatures to protect the various produce gardens. The Mexican culture uses this plant for medicinal purposes to relieve chest pains. The Cherokee tribe, to help with kidney problems. The Dakota tribe, to help with pulmonary. You'd have to be real ignorant or very proud y dumb to deny the existence of a divine Creator. Merci beaucoup for putting out such a time consuming video to educate the public. 170cm. Main issue is pool is very shallow. I wish I had bought the 4m prism pool which is a bit deeper but it was out of stock back then.

This sunflower really made me cry. Why did I grew emotional on a sunflower's growing... It's me 16 now. The year is 2022. As the video is 11 years old from now, I will also visit back this video in the future with the help of this comment whenever someone likes the comment.
