Ok let’s be truthful here. As a woman who has been on the same journey of stuffing my face with processed foods that are killing me. Yes, I lost weight eating some of these foods, but I also have a fatty liver from it, which is gonna go into cirrhosis, as well as it can go into cancer liver, and I have a friend who did that went to cancer, went into cirrhosis of the liver Alcoholic from eating these kind of fruits and she hardly had any weight on her. She had to have a liver transplant, then finally passed away with kidney disease. These process foods that are packaged and put all kinds of stuff in them that we don’t even know how to pronounce Are killing us. I’m 77 years old. I have been at one time 378 pounds at 5 foot two in height. I became diabetic. I had an auto immune disease caused a fatty liver. Fortunately, I have lost over 140 pounds but still have over 100 to still lose. And I do get hung up on eating this junk food. Fast food is a killer and a weight gainer soda pop is a killer and a weight gainer even if it’s diet eating this kind of food whether you’re eating it in small amounts or large amounts is not good for you. It’s not good for children children nowadays at five years old have been found to have a fatty liver from all these chicken nuggets and all of the stuff that we’re giving them, we need to get back to plants. We eat to make these companies rich and then what do they do? They put out foods that make us think that their diet foods they’re not their killer foods they have plastics. They have all kinds of stuff in them. Let me tell you, girls and gentlemen a fatty liver hurts, and it kills diabetes hurts and it kills and knocks out your eyesight your teeth get bad because we don’t take care of ourselves most of us. I’m saying I didn’t. I didn’t love myself at all, but I have found Dr. Brooke who has a CZcams channel goodbye lupus, which is not one of those to sell you supplements, she tries to sell you on yourself everything she has. She gives so much free information and tells us she’s also a psychiatrist which has learned and knows about food addiction trauma in our younger lives or adult lives can cause this food addiction and we have to overcome it we have to learn to love ourselves, she reversed her lupus of 16 years or something like that she was 16 years old when she got it she’s been 19 years symptom-free from her protocol and it was an accident that she found it. I’m telling you guys this food is killing us. they want us to be addicted so they put all of this junk in there. That sucks in the salt, the sugar, the artificial stuff, we’re putting in meat. They’re putting carcinogenic in all this food. Yes, it looks good. Taste good. It’s wonderful tasting, but our bodies don’t like it because of the excess weight that I carried I couldn’t do all the things with my children when they were growing up my grandchildren. I couldn’t do things with them. I still have a hard time because I destroyed my knees with all this weight all this food Messes with our joint messes with our brain and all of this stuff guarantees us a larger percentage chance of getting Alzheimer’s at a younger age people are getting Alzheimer’s much younger and it’s just rampant because of our eating because of our environment we don’t love ourselves in a way that is healthy that we want to love other people too. I know that goodbye lupus on you. CZcams is my answer when I drink these smoothies and eat the way that she tells us to eat. My body goes into healing. I can feel it and yes I get going up and down. It took me a long time to lose the weight because I hadn’t found her protocol, starting eating only plant-based foods. And like she says if you get rid of your diseases, why would you go back to eating anything else? You guys are all in my prayers and I hope I’m in yours because this isn’t an easy journey for me either and I kid in myself for a long time I yo-yoed on diets for years, eating all the things that they put in boxes and packages instead of eating healthy food. The meat they have today are so processed have so much junk in them, our poultry up with tons of salt and solutions that we don’t know what’s in and I even have seen them put carcinogenic stuff in them, but they are nice and tell us on the package that it contains this stuff. My thing is is that we don’t know what that stuff is so we ignore it, I did. Don’t mean to be harsh. I’m just somebody who’s done this yo-yoing all my life stuffing my face with foods that weren’t healthy for me and here I am I ruined my career in nursing the wrong food because they made me so unhealthy I couldn’t think cause me to have brain fog Diabetes fibromyalgia. And now I feel myself in a memory decline while you’re so much younger you can change your life and your children’s lives. I miss so much with my kids and my grandkids and even though I am a lot thinner now I’m not thin I still don’t have much life with my grandkids because I can’t get out and about. I’m baking you please look at alternative foods that are real that are fresh that are raw. If you can’t chew like I can’t chew a lot cause I let my teeth go to hell because I didn’t care about me. I guess took a long time in my early 70s before my teeth started breaking but now I can’t eat much so I have to do smoothies a lot but that’s OK. I’m learning to eat those raw veggies in the smoothie form as well as, chopped up salads. I’m telling you this cause I wish somebody would’ve smacked me in the face with it a number of years ago. I wish this doctor, Brooke Goldner, and her protocol of goodbye lupus, which incidentally has worked wonders for people with kidney failure. Heart failure with auto immune diseases like MS Hashimoto’s disease wish I had found her a long time ago. Please forgive me for rambling on like this, I know we’re I’ll try to be kind to each other, so even if we don’t agree with what somebody’s eating, we sometimes say we do but looks great and yes, it does so enticing. I know that the devil gets to me. I love you all. I know you’re struggles too been there done that still doing it so let’s pray for each other.❤
Young lady I feel for you. I was 378 lbs at my highest wt. I was a nurse and my eating destroyed my health and my career. It caused an auto immune disease as well as I was so susceptible to getting sick all the time I had brain fog could no longer work, but I was blessed with a good friend who had changed her diet to plant-based and she started me eating just one kind of salad first that was awesome, I started eating it throughout the week every day and eating other kinds of veggies and once in a while, ice cheated and ate some meat and was sorry I had and then I had to start walking a lot and spy. The fact that my knees were blown I had no cartilage and my knees left from the weight-bearing. This western diet will kill you chicken nuggets all that package stuff all the stuff that they change that they put stuff in. We don’t even know what’s in our food anymore anyway long story short I got myself down to 236 pounds and it wasn’t overnight. Didn’t take me overnight to put it on. I was in my 60s when I got it off however I still have another 120 30 pounds to lose and I’m yo-yo right now because I have fallen back into that trap of eating junk when I’m stressed or feeling bad, but thankfully, I have stumbled onto doctor Brooke and her husband Thomas who together have found a way to keep her lupus reversed. She was a very sick woman and just wanted to lose some weight so her soon to be husband who is a professional at this helped her formulate an eating plan and exercise plan, and she lost the weight she needed, but in the process it had reversed her lupus. She had no more symptoms. She’s also a psychiatrist and she gives us mini free all kinds of free stuff. We can follow her protocol for free. She does have a small book or books out that are easy easy read good recipe books, but she did all this going 100% plant-based raw. If you can’t chew or don’t want to chew that much veggies and she has does smoothies too I do the smoothies and I love them and the smoothies are wonderful. So much more clarity she also is a psychiatrist and goes over with us about our addiction and the trauma in our lives young or older can be the cause that is usually the root of our struggles. I found in my struggle that getting closer to God and following my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ teachings has also helped me I did a lot of fasting through my weight loss journey, and when I plateaued and started going back up again and down and up and down was because I didn’t stay close and I didn’t take care of me think what you need. She has a CZcams channel called goodbye lupus, and her husband has a Facebook page called smoothie shred. His name is Thomas Tadlock. He is so good lots of free recipes on that page. I think you will be hooked anyway I am. I hope this might help you’re young. I was much older when I finally got to losing my weight. My face is very wrinkled now. Yours won’t be if you do it now and you’ll have so much more life with your children it is so hard when you have to use a scooter or a wheelchair or walker feel much better when I use her protocol. I can walk better I think better my eyes are better. This protocol has helped many people get over many many auto immune diseases that are caused food processed food and environment. After you dont eat anything at all for 3 days something in your body will change. You have to stay hydrated of course. But after 3 days of no food your body will tap into your fat reserves and start to eat at the extra fat you have. If you can go another day or 2 your stomach will shrink a bit and makes it harder to eat large amounts anymore. The more someone eats, the hungrier they stay. Its like that for everyone. 🤷🏻♀️

awesome! love that you’re actually eating! and adding more protein to the soup help you fill up without feeling like you’re binging (idk if you binge or not but i do) and even if your diet isn’t perfect (it never will be bc humans) you’re taking the right steps in ways that are actually sustainable. @@ashleigho5078 I used frozen vegetable mix and a box of chicken noodles lol. I added the yogurt for protein. Have you ever had a crey soup? That's what it tasted like. it really wasn't bad! I'd eat it again lol

@@mistyknights8624 There's a lot of misinformation about potatoes. They are really good for you! Also, insulin spikes are normal and it's absolutely fine to spike if you aren't diabetic.

Portions are too big! It's great trying to eat healthy, (grapes are too high in sugars though), but portion size is essential too + time of meals.
Don't even try to villainize grapes 💀 They're a really good addition to a diet.
that made me smile, keep your head up and never forget its not a sprint its a marathon if you had a bad day and atesome "unhealthy" than yeah it was maybe a bad choice but focussing on a single mistake ignore all the right choices you did in this journey isn't helpffull.

This is awesome! keep it up! I do want to mention that you may be a little misinformed. The only real way for someone to lose weight is for their body to switch from glucose(sugar and carbs) as the main source of energy, to ketones (fat). I recommend looking into the carnivore or keto communities for guidance on diet

Don’t worry about calorie intake. Try to drop your carbs to as close to zero as you can. I have PCOS and can gain a pound from looking at anything sugar. I stopped counting calories and focused on carb intake and eating high protein and fat. Dropped from 310 to 220 in about 6 months. I know it doesn’t work for everyone and every body is different. But if you hit a plateau and want to try something different I fully recommend trying it😊
You are beautiful! Your "short" showed up in my feed. Not sure why, but I see you're on a weight loss journey. I'm a lot older than you, and on my own weight loss journey. I've tried nearly every diet, and a couple of years ago tried Keto. I lost weight, but missed bread, gained everything back. Dumb me! In January of this year. I finally took control and went Carnivore. I have lost 50 pounds and healing my body....zi have another 70 to go to get to my goal, hopefully by next summer. I recommend you give it 30 days. Beef, bacon, butter and eggs. Check out Homesteadhow, or Dr. Ken Berry. Best to you in your quest to get healthy.

She did use whole wheat bread (not that it really matters portion control is usually the main factor in weight loss if that's what someone is going for and it seems the woman in the video is doing a wonderful job at that.) Also, the rest of their comment made zero sense. Lol. I can't stand people hating on someone just trying to make their life better. If filming yourself and connecting with others online helps you then do it. Regardless, more people need to focus on what makes them happy, and have a fulfilling life, instead of picking on others.
