Oh my word...I was creased up over the fly spray dusting 🤣 Fabulous WIP progress...love seeing them and it is just as you say...I love seeing WIPs that aren't even ones I'd tend to stitch. Maybe more so as it's more variety?! I have yet to hit a sampler phase 😂 I hope you have an amazing time at the retreat and can't wait to hear the stories 😄💜

Ok so yeh the DMC chest is sweet but....the fancy moving desk, let's talk about that please 😂. I definitely prefer your biggest chest and all your DMC lined up beautifully. I also loved the ice cream van Interludes! I'm loving my Bisley with Pip and Chip inserts and bobbins, a big investment but worth it I think because I stitch with a lot of DMC. 💗

Oh Sherrie, you do crack me up! What a great way to start my day☺. Know what you mean about getting bogged down in the big stitches. Most of my WIPs are big and I think my ‘bog’ is the middle third. Once I get past that, it’s hard to put down again. On the home stretch with Every Opening Flower then want to tackle Christmas Morning and try to finish by the fall. Have a great time at the retreat!

Hi Sherrie! Thanks for showing us the DMC small box. For sure the larger one has nicer drawer pulls. Yes it would have been nice if the wood stain matched, and also if the DMC logo matched. But you’re right, it’s the contents we’re really after. I thought for sure you would have put a hand in front of the drawers when you tipped the large box, but no you didn’t and gave us all a laugh! Glad you finally found June, it so annoying when you search high and low, mind you I don’t think anyone would has suggested looking there, lol fly spray your a Geg (as we say over here ) Sherrie, I could go mad on the talking dog stitchery site, have you ever tried the cxc threads?, I tend to stick to DMC, the fancy floss are out of my price range.

You do make me laugh, first with the fly spray (maybe next time try an apple scent) then with June. The comment that cat took me 17 weeks had me giggling. It’s pay day next week I’ll go and give talking dog another visit.

I don’t think a fly would dare come near the place Sherri, it will interesting to see how long the dust stays away , you might have started something…..we will be running to the shops to buy fly spray 😂, Milo my dog always watches flosstube with me so he can bark at the cats and dogs on the telly, big goof.

You are so much fun. I have both of the drawer sets but unfortunately I still don’t replace skeins. They are still lovely to have. I’m going to put silks and overdyed threads in the small one…..when I get around to it, but that’s another whole story. Have a great week 😂🌸💞🌸😂

Great review 😂 and so honest. Think the mini box is done with 3 different colour options from the dmc website. I have the large box recently from marketplace as new half price but had looked at the mini and decided against it. I also got the 335 anker power bank from amazon yesterday ready for next week 😁 and so far very impressed. Glad you like your choice. Enjoy the retreat. Might see you there 😀 x

You need to pull the draws out of the big one Sherrie as some of your floss has fallen down the back of it. I love the biggie, the little one is ok. Get your heat pack out and put that cushion under your knees then your back should be ok, ok!!!! Thank you so very much for sharing dals.

Oh Sherri you gorgeous thing… You are a delight to wake up to… 4.30 am here on a potential grey and definitely wet Monday in Melbourne Australia… Yep, I could imagine doing the same thing re the drawers on your DMC chests… I remember years ago I had spent a good hour sorting some petite beads, only to spill them after putting them too close to the edge of the table… Another hour spent scrabbling around on the floor picking them all up… I re sorted them and… yep, you guessed it… I think my family thought I had taken up yoga… As those drawers revealed all those pretty pinks - I wondered if there was a 956 among them - I have just run out of it on the project I am stitching…I went to our local box store to buy a skein and out of all the colours they had, 956 wasn’t one of them… I always say DMC numbers are like lotto numbers, the numbers you have are not necessarily the ones you need… Take care lovely, enjoy your retreat and see you next time around…🪡🧵

You do make I laugh Sherrie😂. You didn't mention how much you paid but i can imagine it wasn't cheap. The original box you got was lovely the colour of the wood looked real as personally the new one doesn't. This is only my opinion. Its your money so you do what you like with it😃.
