I always loved Mick's playing...and only saw him once as an opening act. Later when You Tube came around I would seak out his videos. II never was blown away by John Bonam. He was a great player but it just was not my thing. I do not know why but glam band members never get their due. Only when the leader of the band goes solo and they become huge. Sad really...so much talent was in those bands.

An interesting thing about Bolan’s death is that he had set up offshore trusts to avoid tax. The trusts were set up,,but not till he signed the legal documents the following week would his girlfriend and young son get access to the money on his death. The money is now trapped building up profits every year, but really only allowed to pay layers fees, who are no doubt getting very fat on Bolan s legacy. The girlfriend and son never touched a penny.

Finally some love for Mick Tucker! I believe part of the problem with Sweet in general not getting the respect they deserved was being called a Glam band. They rocked hard. Just listen to Into the Night.
