The forgery guy also forges upgrade material, but they're genuine copies, not fakes, so if u have 1 of a material but need 3 for upgrading a weapon, u can forge it to get more to upgrade it.

Nice video. The dragon fight at the end is proof the game isn't too easy as so many are saying. I have 250 hours in this game and if I run with midgame weapons and armor or do not have the proper party construction bosses and even some crowds of enemies can pose a problem. Lots of players have outfitted themselves and their pawns with a half-million in-game currency worth of weapons and armor. Then hire pawns with high levels and are similarly equipped with endgame weapons and armor then complain enemies are too easy. Hope you're enjoying the game.

Best way to play dd2 is ask Google whether or not a quest in affected by time. Save at inns if you mess up. I play dd2 like this, get all high lv weapons, armor, accessories, do all sidequests.

Lol! That was very painful, watching this vid. Btw, there are actually 2 ways into Battahl that bypass the gate checkpoint. I suggest going both backways in and then getting the quest that goes through the checkpoint for extra points.

wow, I won't spoil anything, but your prediction about the smith might be pretty close to what happens with them, but with a bit of a DD twist. If you want any hints, let me know, but if you're playing completely blind (which I recommend) no worries. There are a few difficult/cryptic quests that you might want to use a written guide for (to avoid visual spoilers) only because some quests seem to have very specific conditions etc. but if you're planning multiple playthroughs you should be fine without.

That temple is for trickster vacation. If you climb the latter in the back, you unlock the trickster vacation AND it ultimate skill. But if you just walk in, you'll only unlock trickster without out ultimate skill and have to build affinity with her later to get ultimate skill.

May I suggest you change out your horror axe for the Tuanosaur axe? It has higher speed, higher impact, and an arguably better effect. The damage is a little bit worse, but in my experience its way stronger. (Also sunfall axe, but you're in caldera so everything is resistant to fire 😢)

Man that fight with the Bee Lords had me on the edge of the seat haha. Good fight. If you hit with the fire arrows consecutively fast you have a chance to ignite enemies, I was hoping for it :D Gratz on the mace aswell

About Factions: Yes Rissa is the representative for that Faction in Berg, the Blue Chamber Collective. Taking a faction starts their specific Questline and locks your character from joining the other factions. You still can travel freely and visit other cities. Those faction quests are often time sensitive (not all) and lead to different outcomes depending what you do or don't. You can get powerful rewards from those faction quests. Also if the quest says: Person X will have a task for you in about 3 days this does not mean you have to take it in 3 days you can take it whenever you want, it only will be available in three days, allowing you to explore and do whatever you want without worrying about time. Eating food does NOT give you back the maximum nor is it healing/regen more. Eating more berries for example does not have any effect, it just gives you a buff for like 500 seconds that regens the stamina, eating more will reset the buff to the maximum time again but not do more regenerating. You can refuel the lantern with oil anytime. Just put the lantern and oil into the crafting window and there you go ;) If you feel you struggle too hard, go back to the first Area (Chersonese) and let the Blacksmith craft the armor set for you (you need to tell him). You can collect "Blue Sand" for it at nighttime on the beach. The armor would greatly help you fighting more dangerous enemies in other zones. Prepare for fights with good food. Make Gaberries into jelly and put it on bread to multiply. Cook some meat for the health regeneration buff and then you can fight them all! Don't forget to put your backpack down before smacking stuff tho! A sip of water before battle helps GREATLY, too! Also, always cook food or you will get nasty diseases that will weaken you or make you waste food. If you play with a shield you should get the "shield smash" ability in the first town from the kazite trainer. You can get the basic skills of every class, you only lock into a class when you get the skill that has a chain on it. Shield smash really smashes the white bar of enemies (their stability) and when you attack enemies with 50% or less of the white bar you push them around and they can't fight back. Its a really important mechanic for combat. Once you get the hang of it you will smack the enemies around like nothing. The bee disease is reeeeally annoying, you can only get rid of it by poisoning yourself (eat a Crab Eye berry for example) and then chuck an antidote One more improtant thing: Craft "rags" to make your weapon do elemental damage. It will make a night/day difference with some enemies since they might be very resistant to physical damage (like the ghosts) but will take tons of elemental damage!

If you choose the scout or marine or naval entrance to the town, instead of customs, you can keep your weapons. If you have a teammate that is one of that class.

Nice now you got Mana! Some quick tips for spells: Your little spark spell is not doing much on its own, but if you create the fire sigil on the ground (lasts 60s) and then you cast spark in it, you will shoot fireballs. If you want to use the Flamethrower spell, you need to take a lantern in your hand, but be aware that it burns the oil really quick. It will set enemies on fire which is pretty strong. The book you bought is fore Rune magic which you can learn in Berg. Many spells need a bit of preparation and combination to be effective, so be aware of your resources! One quick tip regarding food: Try to use 4 Gaberries in a cooking pot to make Gaberry jam and then use 1 Gaberry Jam and Bread to multiply the food. You will get 3 breads with jam per craft, that regen your stamina :) Oh and one thing: Be careful if you see green smoke. It will corrupt you, its more of an mid to endgame thing and could be problematic to get rid off while you are still in the beginning.

Clever solution to the Wendigo problem there, well played! Every food item has different effects, some just fill your hunger bar, some have adrenaline recharge and some mana recharge buffs. Meat is for health most of the time, just cook single pieces of raw meat and then you can get healing from them (slow but steady). You can check which buffs you have in the bottom left corner or in the buff menu where you can also see the duration and effect description. Keep it up, its an enjoyable watch!

Haha about the shield, I alread suspected that you "accidentally" completed the quest from the girl in town. She is actually looking for that and paying 70 silver for it. You can get it back, but the fang shield is much better. Every dungeon in the world resets weekly so 7 days ingame time. About the map: The Icons are just big landmarks. You can find lots of stuff and dungeons that are not marked on the map, like the Trog cave you were in last episode. You are right, there are multiple zone maps, you can travel to them, if you go to the little arrows on the map and have some travel rations with you. There is lots of stuff to explore, the games world is quite large. Since there is no level to your character you have to gauge the difficulty of places by yourself, and some places you maybe want to explore later when you got stronger through gear, learning new abilities and gaining more knowledge. One very practical recipe that I wanna reveal to you: Try combining a Linen Cloth and a Seaweed in the crafting menu ;) Fun fact: There is over 80 different situations you can get into when you get knocked out. I also have never seen something like that in a game and its a super cool idea.

Maybe you found out by now but you can cook single pieces of meat or fruit too. There is no recipe for it because its pretty simple I guess. You can even do that with just a fire and no cooking pot. The game is actually pretty hard. Later you will encounter very difficult and hard hitting enemies. Your current point of the adventure is to find one of the factions the people traveled to and then you can join them which will give you more direction and point you towards doing certain things. But at its core it is about exploration and building your character. There are 10 different classes and you can learn the basics of each of them and mix and match 3 classes fully. So you have a lot of freedom to create a character that caters to your personal playstyle. In the big mountain you can get access to mana and then learn spells throughout the game. Edit: Oh and watch all your debuffs, like diseases and illnesses. You can cure some of them with tea. Tea in general is a big helper in the game. It fixes your burnt health and stamina so you can stay awake longer.

One thing I will say is pretty badass about this game is how you get a story whenever you die instead of just respawning at the last save. I wonder if as you progress and meet stronger more unique enemies it stays the same.

Nice! The Game can be tough! But it rewards knowledge and learning a lot. You will get a hang of what to carry with you or what to better discard from your bag. Some quick tips from what I could learn by now: Eating is crucial in this game, especially the food that gives you buffs like stamina regeneration and health regeneration. Also very important to look at the white bar under the enemies health, which tells you when they will break and be staggered by your attacks (when the bar is at 50% that will happen) and then you can get aggressive. If you are fighting too greedy you often get hit by counter attacks. Most save way to attack is right after they did.

Hey, you have to sleep to regain full stamina and health. When you sleep in your own house, hunger and thirst does not matter but when you sleep in a tent (it’s good to have one in your backpack), it does - you have to eat food and drink water. Also, while you are sleeping your equipped equipment and armor you are wearing is being repaired.
