But... But the natural flaky feathery feather hair that gets into your face IS the whole reason anyone would want an actual feather quill! I aint braking off my expensive emu feather in half and cutting it bold, its a memory souvenir!

Dude you butchered that thing lol. Leave the last bit on the top, looks nice. I wound up sanding the “squared” edges after removing the barbs and very lightly oiled when done. Looks great!

It's just arithmetic modulo 9. It's easy to see that the digital root (i.e., the sums of the digits) of any number written in base 10 equals its value modulo 9 (if the number is positive, 0 modulo 9 means its digital root is 9). If I multiply it by anything, say 12, the result 93915x12 = 1126980 has digital root 9: 1+1+2+6+9+8+0 = 27, and 2+7 = 9. How can I prepare a quill for the same rigidness so it can make the clipping sound?

The narrator has a fine command of the English language, whilst carving a feather quill pen, but this certainly isn't the best demonstration I've seen. So having produced this historical writing tool, you then butcher away all the feathers to avoid tickling to the face. Why don't you just use a Bic pen instead? You didn't even write any calligraphy.

Greetings, i've always called the "guts of the thing" the "marrow" of the shaft. No idea if it is correct but that is what I use.
