I work at Chevy, you just have to go into the -settings. -accounts -add account Then you can sign into your My Chevy/ or Google account You really don’t gotta unplug the battery

I have this 2024 gmc sierra 1500 elevation. My screen is frozen only got about 1500miles. I hope this doesnt become a pain in the ass for 60k truck

Future reference just hold down the phone button on steering wheel it will reset infotainment center

you do not have to disconnect anything. Simply go inside your truck, turn it on and make sure everything is running on your infotainment screen. Next hold down your hang up call button on your steering wheel for 10 seconds keep watching the screen in the middle until it flashes and reboots. Problem solved!

Dealership didn't let me leave until account was setup, synced Onstar and the App on my phone. Wasn't clear if they went through everything but I would be equally frustrated. I had some issues with my phone and Android Auto. Plugged in a couple times then haven't had any Bluetooth issues.

I keep a small can of wd40 or PB just so because most boats these days have more moving parts than our vehicles. Something always needs grease.

I would have taken it back to the dealership and let them fool with it. Any GMC Dealership would work on it.

I have a 1500, which only has one battery, but when I disconnect the negative cable, nothing resets. I’ve left it off for over 15 minutes before. Any ideas?

I’ve had my new Chevy Trail Boss for about 3 months and I subscribed to all the My Chevrolet and On Star services. A few days ago the infotainment system stopped updating to the My Chevrolet app. Not a big deal because after all I could still get same data scrolling the dash display. Thing is these services cost me about $50 monthly. The ones that are most comforting are emergency and vehicle locator services. After three calls to On Star and two trips to dealer the app now delivers all information but it was a hassle I hope not to have again. Technology is great when it works but when it doesn’t it can make very annoying.

These are the kinds of videos that made youtube great, being able to find the solution to that weird problem nobody can figure out

Whoever sold you that truck , is a terrible salesman , I never ever let my customer leave without taking any Gm vehicle off of demo mode and registering their Gm account

Did you try holding the "phone " button on the steering wheel down for 10 seconds? Pretty sure that works and a lot easier.

I was able to reset mine from the cab through the safe mode option and resetting through the phone symbol with the line through it.

If you hold down the scroll button on the right side of the steering wheel for about 20 it reboots the system out of guest mode. Easy.

Thats pretty simple stupid. How about a intermittent no sound issue?? No music. No phone audio. No turn signal sound "weird". I have a open GM TECH Ticket but What Ever. Any thoughts out there???

Does your music cut out and come back on? My infotainment in my 22 Silverado 1500 cuts out then comes on numerous times. Seems like a bug in the system.

I love the new at4! It blows away my 2011 HD2500 Denali in most comparisons except mpg. I have a deleted lml with similar power and I get 19 mpg with 35 inch tires driving 78 mph. I’m around 26 mpg at 65 mph.

Mine is the exact truck and did the same thing. I remote started it using the AP this morning at coffee and noticed the blinker chime does not work as well the audio. The information center works but no audio.

I had the exact same problem with my new 2024 Denali 2500HD diesel truck. I could not get it out of demo mode. I wish I would have seen your video 2 weeks ago. I took it back to the dealer. Took them about an hour to figure it out. But they did not have to use any tools. In the menu they reset it and put it in safe mode, Programmed it in safe mode. added my profile in safe mode and then reboot and it worked.

Does anybody know how to have the lights on the steps turn on when you open a door?
