Can someone please help me. 3:59 in the bottom left corner it says “A” select “B” back. But for some reason, my buttons are reversed and it’s messing with my brain. I can’t find a key bind to change this please help.

The jumping thing isn't really useful well for me at least so I probably won't do that one

another thing you can do instead of changing the jump button is playing claw it’s not easy but i’ve been doing it for years

I have planks, bucket, food and throwables on dpad, running on R1, might try to change the jump button! (Also in Fortnite)

Great video, Im Bk on the game after playing bk in 2018 and the PC mouse players seem to always have a better chance in combat.. I play on pc so if people are using the preffered xbox players, I am mostly coming up againts PC mouse players, wish they had a setting to disable just the mouse instead of ruling out all pc players. will try your settings and see if it helps.

As a solo slooper who spends most their play sessions getting demolished by galleon crews the last bit about loosing is the best… I’ve sunk so many times with countless hours spent just to be reclaimed by Davy Jones. But most my combat is muscle memory by now and timing chain shots to cannon angle calibration comes naturally, but just because I’ve failed so many times and continue to fail. Always take a risk no matter if their entire crew is glowing with the PVP Athena Curse, just makes them easier targets… and think outside the box, if you have to swim to the FOTD, just so they don’t see sails. Use your automatic move hotkey and Michael Phelps it. Never underestimate the advantage of surprise, especially with newer crews, be patient if you’re able to get a solid tuck off with visibility. Also, the new added hotkey for bait is very handy before gripping the enemies ladder, giving them a face full of vomit as you dance with your cutlass is even more useful without sweats being able to two-tap nearly as quickly.

Also i would add some settings. Use food rs, controller response curv to 1,3. Jump with a using crawl. And lastly use 120+ fov

For double gun I suggest switching change weapon to RB, makes it much smoother

I warn against remapping jump to stick click. Using stick as a hotkey is a fast track to stick drift. Thats right! You can blame stick drift on sprint and melee in cod! Dont not use it, but dont make it a common one either. Also i wouldnt tell folks to max out sensitivity OR tell them to do it in incriments. I would tell them to pick a sens they feel most deadly at and let muscle memory do its thing. If you ramped it to ten, yes, do it now and leave it there. Getting used to a sens youre not going to use is some herp a derp stuff. Raising it to ten, rotate the right stick (ogre twitch) lower to 8.5, rotate ctick (ogre twitch. Halo pro player. Ogre. He circled his right stick a lot and it let his brain dial in) my sens is 8. But ill raise it to ten, ogre twitch, lower it again, twitch again, and now for some reason it feels way better. 🤷‍♂️ Ill put what i said in another video here: "I switched item wheel to LB. Jump is on RB (jumping while being able to look is one of the better functions, also jumping while holding LT for sword) A is food. R.S. is throwables. Left dpad is spyglass, right dpad is bucket, up dpad is wood plank. Down dpad is emotes. (The right thumb is often in charge of dpad) The key, is to find what suits you. I also have a pdp rematch controller. Two back buttons. One for X and for B. I can manage loot hauls without right thumb having to do it all that way. Also sprint juggling for loot is enabled more easily. Thats worth noting, but is by no means required."

I Bend my right index over the buttons anyways so I don’t need to remap jump. Either way I wouldn’t do it because A is such a universal jump button it’d mess up like every game😭

I bought a razor controller, and it has extra buttons so I have alot of extra buttons, THX for the tips

So are you suggesting to switch your switching the sticks, so moving with your right stick and turning with your left?

I just wanted to say, as one of the DOZENS! I really appreciated this whole series. I implemented some of these changes, tuned them to my personal taste, and it has revolutionized the fun I now have playing Sea of Thieves.
