The wind was quite blustery from around 45 degrees to our port bow (looking from the closing shot, in the berth). I wanted to give the boat as much momentum against the wind as possible to allow for swinging the bow around. In real life it wasn’t quite as close as it seems on the vid, but you’re right, it could have been done from further away.

It's my mate's boat. He couldn't remember the pitch off the top of his head, but promised to check next time he is at the boat. It's a four blade prop. I'll get back to this.

@Nick Pierik. Heard back from my mate, the prop specs are as follows: Dia 14, pitch 19 and it's a four blade stainless steel prop by VenSura. He hasn't measured accurate top speed, but reckons it tops out at just over 40 knots.

Hi, sorry for not responding earlier. Volvo engines (TAMD75's) have been excellent (knock on wood :)) and a great match to the boat. Worth looking for one with these latest generation engines. Fuel consumption naturally totally dependant on the cruising speed. We do mix of planing/displacement, so can't really give meaningful numbers. We have had the boat for sale many times over the years, but each time have withdrawn as this boat has been pretty perfect for us :). Good luck with the search.

Thanks! Yes, I saw that on one of Peter McKinnon’s vids :(. Sounded really heavy. There is going to be new legislation in here too next year. An online course and test will be required to obtain permit.

Thank you! I haven’t really thought about doing a walkaround, but that’s a good idea. I did do a short vid of the interior spaces which you’ll find on the channel, but that’s not very informative. She’s a great boat, though, and we’ve done many long cruises around the baltic.

Great. Thanks man. I've just been messing with mine to get to grips with it. Currently using Cinelike D. I think I'll get the vlog profile in the near future just so I've more control in grading over the footage.

Mine was on 'Standard' but I've just switched to CineD with the settings from this article -> www.premiumbeat.com/blog/gh5-best-video-settings/ Interesting to see how that helps in grading. There are some useful tips also.
