Thank you for the wonderful information...we are planning a short trip to Thailand in August and booked our stays. First 2 nights in BKK, 2 nights in Koh Samet, 2 nights in Pattaya and last night in BKk. Since it's rain season, I'm wondering if i should cancel my Koh Samet bookings since it might be dangerous to be on the boat during the rain (just in case it's a heavy down pour)...what would you suggest?
Thank you for your comment. We appreciated it. Would it be bad to say it depends on your luck as well? :( But that’s kind of true. If you don’t arrive during a storm, there’s a 5-70% chance of rain. Rayong province (where Koh Samed is located) won’t have daily rain until mid-September to mid-October. But again, it depends if you come during a storm. I’ve been to Koh Samed during the rain back when I was in college. On our last day, the sky was dark, and a storm was coming, so we couldn’t leave as planned in the morning. But guess what? By 10:30, the sky cleared up, and the boat was ready to leave. So you never know. Just make sure that if you come, you don’t take the risk of going out to sea if it looks like there will be a storm. And there's a chance that you may have to postpone your departure boat ride. Keep your schedule a bit flexible for that. One last thing: consider whether you are serious about having bright blue skies and a blue sea, say if you're a photographer. Chances are, it might not be picture-perfect. Even right now, it rains only half an hour to two hours a day (intermittently), but it’s not sunny with blue skies. It’s rather overcast.
So you just walk out with a wet butt? How do you dry off after using the sprayer?
Tissue!!!! I bring my own tissue!!!!! And most of the time, at the mall and restaurant, they should have tissue for you. But if it’s small food shop, you just bring tissue from your table. BUT the real problem comes when you travel outside of the big city. Bring your own tissue, or let your panty do all the work :)
Rain or shine...it doesn't matter! I'm going to surf. Either way, I'm getting wet.
Yesssssss!
❤ Thank You For The information It Was interest😊
Thank you for your comment! It means a lot to us!!!!
I’m going Thailand for 10 days July 20 to July 30th
Enjoy!
That’s not true with the boy I am Thai but you are not Thai so ever speak Thai
Hi we r planning to Thailand in august is that good to come r not 😥😥😥
I say, if this is the only time of year you can come, it's fine. 👍 It's not as sunny as April or as blue-skied with chilly breezes as in December, but the upside is fewer crowds. 😊 It never rains nonstop in Thailand, especially outside the peak season of September and October. 🌦 Just bring an umbrella or rain jacket from 7-Eleven and continue traveling as normal. 🏝 Also, listen to the boat companies-if they say it's too risky to go island hopping, don't go. 🚤

End of july visting bangkok, phuket n krabi plz suggest weather condition😢
As far as weather goes, it really depends on your luck, unfortunately 🤷♀. I'm in Bangkok and can report real-time conditions for you. It rained heavily only once last week, with a bit of a sprinkle once or twice 🌧. Yesterday was gloomy with dark clouds ☁, but no rain. Today, it's blue skies and super sunny 🌞. July isn't the peak of the rainy season yet, so it's not likely to rain every day unless a storm hits. For Krabi, the weather will be similar to Bangkok, but since it's a beach city, expect it to be less predictable with more abrupt changes 🌦. From my experience, trust the boat companies and talk to more than one to see if they have any cautions about going out to sea that day. If a storm hits while you're in the middle of the sea, it can be very scary 🌊. Check TikTok for recent videos on Phi Phi weather or storms-some show how quickly conditions can change. Personally, I wouldn't risk being out at sea during a storm again.
@@thailandvsglobe thank u so much for replying 😃.
You’re very welcome :)
I’m flying to Phuket on the 10th of July. I’m really worried about it being rainy all the time 😭
It's hard to tell when you're on an island, I guess. But according to a local (Phuket), if you saw the news on June 30th, there was severe flooding in Phuket. ‼️However, there are two important points from someone on the ground (try searching TikTok for Phuket weather, maybe use google translate to Thai language): 1. The flooding didn't impact Patong Beach. The Patong area remained dry. (So even during flooding, it's not the entire island.) 2. By July 1st, the sky was blue and clear, and everyone was enjoying their day out. 🤷🏻♀️ So, keep your fingers crossed! I hope you'll get to see some blue skies during your trip. You never know-it's hard to predict the weather near the coast, beach, or island.
@@thailandvsglobe thank you very much! I’ll subscribe for the good reply :)
Awww… thank you. 😊
@dannyb3039 How's the climate there I am flying on the 17th July. Rides are open or not ?
@@shree7426 very cloudy and rainy but it’s very warm
It is the first week of September? Or last week of September?
Won’t make much of a difference - in terms of weather :) pretty much similar throughout September.
@@thailandvsglobe I’m planning to go to Thailand this end of September. I’m planning to go to Flower park in Khao Yai. Do you think it’s worth since it’s rainy season?
I’m not sure about the blossoms time for the park/farm that you are going to visit it, you probably have to check their Facebook page for an up-to-date/real time information. But personally, I love going to Khoa Yai during the rainy season because it’s so lush green, and it’s like a misty town after the rain, I love the vibe.
@@thailandvsglobe Nice! Thanks for letting me know. ❤️
June is peak low season, not many tourists and not everything open with the beaches suffering from potentially dangerous waves. It will pour rain heavily, then the rain stops. The heavy rain cleans out the drains and can pollute the seas a bit, that said l enjoyed it when i went to Karon in June and this year i went in May and will also visit in September. I prefer these times as you avoid the peak season and prices are lower.
Yeah, I also like that it’s less crowded at the beach and everything really.

Nicely done, I have not been to Chiang Rai but I have been to Chiang Mai. So I will visit Chiang Rai next time I visit Thailand.
If you love nature, you will love Chiang Rai. It's a lot quieter than Chiang Mai, and I love it there. One of our favorite places in Chiang Rai is Doi Chang-check it out and spend a night there if you love staying close to nature with a village vibe and tons of cafes with stunning views.
It's ' Barng Gog '

@@thailandvsglobe yeah
i am planning to visit Phuket in starting week of August. How the crowd is in August ? We dont want to be only people around the Patong? one mor question is there a possibility to not attend the activities due to weather conditions
I don't think Phuket has ever really be that quiet (except in 2020-2021 of course), to be honest. You won't be the only person in Patong, rain or shine. People say it's "overly touristy" for that reason. Regarding activities, many islands in the Andaman Sea (the beautiful ones that are national parks) are mostly closed during that month. But on the Thai Gulf coast, you can still enjoy island hopping on that side.
Very informative video. Good work. I am also planning to visit Thailand and Malaysia next week on a family trip. If you know, can you please provide a brief idea about whether it is recommended to visit Malaysia in June or not? Waiting for your reply. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your comment. I'm not an expert in Malaysia travel, but I have been to KL and Cameron Highlands many times. I got to say it depends on where you're going - maybe check out some of these websites www.selectiveasia.com/malaysia-holidays/weather/june because it can be quite different from one city to another. By the way, it hasn't been raining for almost 5 days in a row now here in Bangkok, I think there's a chance you'll stay pretty dry here in Thailand :) It hasn't been raining as much as expected this year.
@@thailandvsglobe okay thank you...😊
People also get dao aka (buddhist ring) at a place with the 3 biggest buddha
🤔🤔🤔
Will it rain in September ?
Unfortunately yes :( But rain in Thailand will be stop at some point during the day (like in an hour or two) not all day long like in some other parts of the world.
@@thailandvsglobe noted! Thanks for the response 🙌🏻

The theory of Malay language is not plausible, even Ayuthaya people in the past called Bang-kok which has nothing to do with Malay in that era.
