What a first half of football we played! Soaked up pressure in the first 15 mins, then turned the screw, Brackley hardly got out of their half after that. Lovely slick passing, fighting for every ball, good movements and plenty of chances. We should have been 3-0 up at the break. A decent 2nd half, but really needed a second goal as they had several breakaway opportunities especially in the last 10 mins, but defence looked really solid. This team looks the business, well done, keep it going. COYR ⚽️

We always looked like winning this game, players looking keen, willing to take defenders on, chasing back, extra man always there to pass to. Thought the new lad Beresford lacked match fitness, but hopefully will get there soon. Kouhyar on the wing always looking dangerous, Cadogan and Summerfield certainly addrd to the midfield, Brown probably had his best game for us. Foulkes absolutely outstanding in dealing with their no. 11 who was their main threat and deservedly man of the match. Very encouraging start to the season, hoping Amari is ok after being clattered early on. COYR!

Foulkes, Brown, Kouyahr, Cadogan, Summerfield, Penny all excellent. Positive signs for new lad Beresford - tenacious, worked hard & great pressing to force dreadful clearance for 2nd goal.

Fantastic start, 2 goals, other attempts going close, just what we needed after a previously poor season. This should ensure a good crowd for our first home game. But let's not get carried away, we need to keep the momentum going at home where we've been disappointed for the last 2 seasons. COYR!

We won’t water the pitch as we don’t own the ground, we are fan owned and are part time and rely on volunteers 😂 - don’t even know if the groundsman is there on matchdays, maybe he is as the goals need putting up.

I agree we need to be creating more chances and being more ruthless with the chances we have. Because it's one of the reasons why we got relegated last season because we weren't clinical in front of goal
