next time use mix shader and just draw the road where you need it then you won't be able to see the separation between the road and the grass

In order to separate the path and the ladder, it is better to use the mask mode in the sculpture mode, there you could also raise or lower the ground relative to the path and the transition would be smooth, not sharp like yours
