July 20, 2024. The goal of JRTC is to create realistic environments that help prepare units for complex operations. Training exercises include medical evacuations of wounded soldiers, weapon live-fire trainings, and sustainment operations that help sharpen skills and maintains unit readiness. It has been over 26 years since the 41st Infantry Battalion has trained at JRTC.

The world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans. RIMPAC 2024 is the 29th exercise in the series that began in 1971.

Great to have ambassador Kennedy in Darwin again.United states armed forces have a long association with Darwin,possibly the most geographically isolated city in Australia.The USS Peary memorial in Darwin harbour indicates the war grave of 88 USN members who were lost when the Peary was bombed in 42.They are not forgotten. The USMC have been here more than 10 years,mostly in the dry season for live fire training.their conduct has been for the most part exemplary .I hope when they return home to family and friends they have had a good experience of their time with us here in the deep North

NATO Channel Courtesy Video NATO Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) LITHUANIA 11.17.2023 ‘Czech Mudness’ saw 71 teams from eight Allies getting dirty during a long obstacle course under the cold weather, hosted by the Czech Army. The Czech contingent of the NATO multinational battlegroup in Lithuania hosted their ‘Czech Mudness’ competition, where soldiers had to navigate a series of challenges in mudslides and forest trails in a seven-kilometer obstacle course. Seventy-one teams from several battlegroup nations - Belgium, Czechia, Germany, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and the United States - jumped into the mud for the event. In order to successfully navigate the obstacle courses, the soldiers had to work together to tackle different obstacles and cross the finish line together. Footage includes shots of soldiers from Belgium, Czechia, Germany, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and the United States working together to tackle a series of challenges in the obstacle course. And an interview with the Czech organizer, OF-1 Matěj of the Czech Army.
