Second goal for Singapore by Abbas Saad in the famous 4-0 win over Pahang in Singapore's 1994 triumph in the Malaysia Cup. Upscaled and edited, doubled to 50fps from my own VHS footage cause there were high quality ones available.

    Yes, I was there at Shah Alam with my whole family. That was our last enjoyable moment as Singapore was kicked out from Malaysian football.

    Never again.. we may never experience this great footballing sensation again in our lifetime, with all the mismanagement by the politicians to score selfish points at the expense of our sport traditions.. even the National Stadium was torn down to replaced by the White Elephant & shopping mall now.. very sad...

    When Singapore was serious about football. Now FAS are run and managed by part time clowns who call it SOCCER and build shit stadiums that host barely 200 per game. Football has regressed 90% since this golden era.

    gone are those days.. when local fans so supportive of our singapore soccer team.. the stadium always fully packed, fans spending time and money to travel to msia for away games.. now singapore football has really go downhill.. heads must be rolled at FAS..

    the best gift i ever had...the best moment 7th dec i got married 14dec is my bday 17dec singapore won the cup watching again 2023 24/10 wow almost 30years time have past...can't forget the best memories of this Era❤

    I was in Sec. 2 during this season. No internet, no SNS. Best thing after school was going home on the SBS aircon bus, or quiet MRT with a copy of the NEWpaper reading about the Malaysia cup. This makes me cry. Great times. Miss those days.

      @@jasonl4218 i didnt say in 94..what i mean historicly..and by SG size and football association they alway included in malaysia tournament that how SG and Brunei national teams keep their players played for experienced for international duties Back then we didnt had alot of money invested in football and we malaysian never consider SG football foreign..they r part of our history more than brunei team

    Been more than 2 decades ago I watched FA Cup final clash between Geylang United VS SAF in Geylang Stadium. Still remember after the match I was shake hand with a 6ft++ tall guy Croatia player already forgot which team he playing for?

    I was one of the fans sitting and cheering in the 1994 Malaysia Cup finals. Everytime Singapore scored, I felt as if the stadium was going crumble from all the roaring screams of the Singapore fans!!!

    RIP Ken Worden whom he passed away last year. When he shocked the public by his sudden resignation as Singapore's coach, I still remembered vividly TNP's distasteful headline asking him to "go to hell."
